i don't really know what to make of this place. from the outside, it looks inviting. the outside sitting area is nice. once you step in, you realize this is not an ordinary coffee shop with a screen that shows movies and decorations that don't follow a certain pattern. what i gather is that they wanted to create a unique place but the whole thing doesn't fit well. downstairs looks boring with a simple design and a table tennis setup(!) upstairs you have a mix of portraits, movie posters and some modern furniture. as for the coffee and service, i definitely liked the flat white, but the cheese cake was a disaster. the serving girl was sweet and kind but i don't know if i'd visit this place again. btw what does this name mean? i didn't really get the whole connection.
