the beautiful restaurant with the yummiest dishes ever tasted
there was seafood night wen we visited and the crabs n lobsters was just just awesome
loved the ambience and the hospitality

amazing evening with amazing people. staff are super friendly and we had really a great time. the food portions were huge but really delicious. loved every bite of it. we ordered the lobster pasta, burgers, and red snapper platter. we tried their mezze as well and it was delicious. the ambiance is very cozy and relaxing. you can see everyone smiling and happy including the staff. very well organized. we will come back for sure.

we visited the restaurant on the first night of our stay at rotana. firstly, their zomato menu is outdated). ordered chicken curry with rice (not shown on their restaurant menu) and a seafood red sauce pasta.

the food and services are excellent. and the place was full of positivity, relaxing and pretty enter training. however, the restaurant was hot and the ac was not working properly. but my over all experience was great

we were staying in the same hotel & we decided to have a quite & family dinner then we visited waves, simply it was a perfect choice, lovely food, service & ambience.

had friday brunch at waves in fujairah rotana resort. great selection of cuisines (indian, arabic, mexican, italian) and other international food on the buffet. what stood out the most in the station is the cheese display as well as the mexican station. must try for me was the kibbeh, moutabel, lamb chops, and beef cuts. enjoyed the presentation of the food as it made it all the more appetizing. staff were friendly, attentive and courteous.

"came here for the friday brunch and they has the easter theme going on. this place really had a great variety in their brunch buffet and the way they has presented it was more appealing than most buffets ive had. everything ranging from the shawarma, to tacos, to beef cuts and the lamb chops, hummus, vine leaves and all of that variety had absolutely great taste to it. everything was really fresh and very consistent in taste for sure. the drinks can definitely be improved though but nonetheless, i has a great time with the food and the views around. relaxing, exciting and refreshing atmosphere. 

ambience: this place has an amazing atmosphere, plenty seating and nice place to chill. 

service: the service was quick - the staff is friendly as well. 

food: the food was great. everything tasted amazing and the food was served beautifully. 

location: the location is perfect. easy access and lots of parking. 

recommendations: would recommend this place and also definitely be coming back here.

easter at @fujairahrotana was the most happening and fun filled event. if u wanna celebrate easter in a style, where kids can enjoy themselves as well as the adults then u shud definitely head to @fujairahrotana from next year onwards.

@fujairahrotana organized a garden brunch for easter at their beautifully situated property near the shores and mountains of fujairah. entire garden was utilized with kids activity area, where they had special egg painting, treasure hunting, musical chair and etc. games hosted and organized specially for the little ones. and pool area and sun bathing chairs for the adults to relax and enjoy themselves as well.

moving on to the buffet, they had a massive spread covering food from different regions and flavours from around the world. they were serving, italian, mexican, arabic, indian, magnolian, and continental cuinies, to please all their crowd. the food was fresh and continuously refilled. the meat in the buffet was the most succulent i have ever had, specially the lamp chops which were deeply marinated in a delicious sauce and were almost like melt in the mouth. they even had a live shawarma counter, where they made some delicious and not those small ones, but the long shawarma wraps according customer requirements.

their mexican counter was to die for, as u could treat yourself with some crunchy and delicious tacos and wraps with your choice of filling. may it be crowd pleaser - guacamole, sour cream, fajita chicken or fresh vegetables and herbs. you ask for it and they have it. almost all kinds of sauces and dressings were available.

this indian taste bud cannot miss out on trying the indian food, specially when they are serving, punjabi special saag. indian food was perfectly flavoured and served in authentic indian style.

desserts options at the buffet were unlimited, it was like a kids party and where your are gonna be getting a sugar rush with all those sweets. from arabic baklawas to chocolate fondues, chocolate tarts, cheesecake, tiramisu, cakes, ice cream, chocolates. they had it all!!.

cheese and salad counter was also bountiful and filled with some appetizing options to indulge in.

a relaxed & trendy restaurant located facing the open beach gives you a perfect picture of the restaurant. waves beach located at the fujairah rotana resort & spa could be one of the most romantic spot to dine in and with the beach cabanas it only gets better. the venue could definitely be customized for any occasion and when the cooler winds hit sure to be a great spot.

our dinner at waves was the highlight of our stay. with elevated cabanas positioned to offer remarkable views of the sea and lit by flicking torchlight, it’s a romantic spot and one that is elevated further by the ability to see the night stars (something of a rarity in the uae). on fridays waves has a seafood market concept where diners can select fish and crustaceans from the catch of the day, all of which are from the region and beautifully preserved amongst glistening ice. omani lobster, hammour and red snapper are chosen, weighed and cooked to your liking (baked, grilled of fried) with a selection of delectable sauces. waves takes more of a fine dining approach in terms of food and service and it certainly pays off when compared to the casual nature of the other outlets.

we recently tried this seafood restaurant on a friday night at fujairah rotana during our 2 nights stay. lucky us, as they’re having a market concept where you can pick the seafood, weigh it, cook it as you like. it’s fun! our wait staff aaron was well versed as he explained all the type of seafood. from the “market”, we selected bizri as our starters which according to him are exported from chile or germany, hammour and shrimp. since my husband was allergic to some seafood, we’d also chosen from their à la carte menu, he ordered a ribeye steak and i asked for a tom yum soup and dessert. mocktails were called innocent mai tai (a mixture of pineapple, carribean syrup, lemon and orange) and berry brainstorm (a blend of strawberry, blueberry, raspberry, apple lemon and vanilla ice cream).

the starters arrived, the soup and fried bizri. the soup has the right amount of spice and the bizri tastes really good that my husband finishes most! i tried to stop him as he was allergic to it but he insisted! i cannot blame him as it was crispy and delicious. so the same night, he feels a bit itchy :p

all the main courses are accompanied by steamed vegetable, potato cooked to your liking (we chose wedges) and rocca salad. we asked them not to put any mashed potato with the steak as we felt like overeating already with the mere sight of each dish :) each is beautifully plated by their great chef. the husband loves his steak and i like the hammour partnered with lemon and garlic butter sauce. yum! ended our meal with the mouth-watering trio desert – small portion of tiramisu, chocolate lava cake and strawberry cheesecake.

wanted to try something new, away from main part of fujairah. food is good, just a little pricey, 395 for one seafood platter...... it definitely tasted great, but it was pricey and the lobster was over cooked. but like i said everything was delicious. another thing if you decide to eat outside, they don't really have any fans so it gets pretty steamy out there. but overall, great place to go waste some dirham.

the restaurant is located right on the beach and is great for couples/ friends who want to relax and talk amidst sounds of waves and backdrop of the beach.

the day we visited the restaurant there was a seafood market night and you could buy different type of fishes, lobster, prawns and other seafood items and chef prepared it for you the way you liked it.

we selected our fish and prawn and had chef fry it. the food was served hot with a side of french fries and fried exactly as requested. we followed the dinner with warm chocolate cake topped with vanilla ice cream.

the berry summer breeze was a nice accompaniment to the food.

waves is an amazing restaurant. this is ny 4th time when i went to dine there. the chef takes special care and personalised approach to serve the guests. all small details are paid attention to. the best is the seafood soup at this place. the breaded chicken with parmesan is another awesome dish with the seafood spaghetti cooked in bechamel sauce.

best seafood i ever had, seafood market was a good option to have on friday night.
loved the arabic mezzah, the freshly baked bread and the presentation.
