went for lunch and ordered fried oysters
tasted like french fries
not corn meal but crispy and no oyster like we are used too in true cajun fried up
i hope this restaraunt will be successful
in little elm
we need more restaraunts here
perhaps the new owners could visit new orleans and decorate the place more like green gold and purple
waiter was ok but did not know the menu as presented on the internet
i wish them the best

great food breakfast/lunch/and dinner. i have eaten here several times and its just plain yummy!!! we went yesterday for my daughter's 6th birthday. we had never been for breakfast and just like lunch and dinner it was superb!!! you get so much food for the amount of money that you paid for. i had a biscuits with gravy with eggs, bacon, and chicken fried steak. it was only $8.99 but i was able to make to meals out of all the food they gave us,

wow!! i stopped here to eat breakfast, and all i can say is that ihop has nothing on waters edge! my boyfriend and i both ate a huge meal for only 12. the food is amazing, the people are friendly, and it's ridiculously affordable. i'll be back for sure!

what a disappointment! being from new orleans i really wanted this place to be good, but sadly it was not even mediocre. fried pickles probably could have been good had they not been way over salted. gumbo had a faint taste of file' but was watery and bland (rice undercooked). bisque (supposed to be crawfish) was no more than a creamy corn chowder with whole kernel corn and some crawfish thrown in. citrus catfish was a decent piece of fish but seemed like fruit cocktail was poured on it with canned chunk pineapple. fried oysters were soggy, wish they had been fried with a bit of cornmeal and were crisp on the outside. french fries were standard frozen food service. the best part of our family meal was the flavor of the boiled crawfish, however there were a number of mushy ones. man, really would have liked to have found a good new orleans style mom and pop place here. we'll keep looking.

this place is a hole in the wall that serves real home cooked food. it was nice getting fresh fried shrimp instead of prebreaded crap. i really do love their food. i have yet to find something i don't like.
