big soft sweet hamburgers buns with thick buns cooked to order, a nearly perfect medium rare, with delicious topping options. if you see someone eating one of these burgers, you'll have to order one. also seasoned waffle fries. and they had a comedy show there!

the food was pretty good but the portions are quite small. i had the chimichurria pasta. also the food took an hr to arrive apparently they had a huge party back up the kitchen so they did pay for the meal. gots to go back and try it our for an appetizer and drink kind of place

always a sheer delight!. my wife and i view vodka street as one of our favorite treats. sw salad with grilled tuna, black & blue burger, tapas and their wonderfully creative fusion dishes are soooo good! and, we can watch the rangers or the sport of the day on their several big screens.

yes, you need to enjoy this wonderful oasis of food and libations before the wanna-be university cool dudes and lasses take over the enclosed patio area with loudness & chain smoking. during the school year after 9:15. may thru august and during breaks--quaint and quiet.

along with the root cellar (almost directly across the street), vodka street is san marcos' best.

not bad. it wasn't as high-end as the name implies, but the tapas were excellent.
odd assortment of cuisines, from asian to cajun and philly cheesesteaks. my burger was good and my daughter's shrimp tacos were good (the lobster bisque poured on top was pre-fab but tasty and a nice touch), but my wife's avocado tacos with fish were overcooked.
semi-decent selection of beer on tap.
besides my wife's tacos, the biggest complaint would be the casual dress of the staff there. the name implied something a little more upscale. but they were attentive and pleasant.
like the title says, not bad - especially for san marcos.

this is not your typical bar food! vodka street marries a tasty fusion of old favorites like the philly cheesesteak with new world flavors that make it pop. eat here and enjoy the original walls and turn of the century copper ceiling with abstract modern art. and, oh yeah, have a drink from their full bar.
