poor service and poor food quality. the food was oily and overly salty. think kitchen nightmares and go to subway instead

just like grandma used to make.... well, if she were italian, but in this case, just as many of my friend's grandma's used to make. growing up in an area with a large italian community, i spent many sunday nights stuffing myself beyond any level of comfort, because i just couldn't stop eating all the great dishes put out for dinner. vince's reminds me of those nights! fortunately for me, i seem to have developed some self control, since i don't leave feeling as if i may burst, but the meals are great italian dishes, made just the way i remember having when i was young.
there is something to be said about the "typical italian restaurant" decor, checkered table cloths, fake plants "climbing" down the walls, a few status here and there, and the great music, quietly playing in the background. it makes me want to sit and stay awhile, enjoy a great meal and a glass (or two) of the house wine, and for definitely stay for dessert! their cannoli's are great, and their twist on traditional tiramasu (tiramisu mousse) is something i will be going back for!

when you are served, after delay, with tiny "bread sticks", which are really thick pretzel sticks made in a factory 1500 miles away, it sets the bar rather low.

soup/salad was served with real bread. all were pretty good. fresh greens, and the bread and soup were made in house, i think. main dish wasn't bad...

the current rating is 3.8, and i'm not sure how or why. noodles were pretty good, but the sauces all tasted the same.

sorry but this place is just not good. some people have low expectations. veal picatta was not pounded, was over cooked and literally came swimming in oil.

i've had awfully "good luck" ordering from d-dish.com in portland, one of those restaurant home delivery marketing companies. delivered dish signs up restaurants, supplies back end ordering/menu software, and arranges delivery of restaurant menu items direct to your house for a small fee. most large cities have a similar service, and on a business trip to suburban seattle recently, i checked out their version, 2 go services . i don't know if there is any relationship between the portland and seattle outfits, but they do use the same "back end" and your sign-on will work with either service. in seattle, we tried our luck with vince's , a 50 year-old italian restaurant and pizzeria. our interaction with the delivery service went as easily as when we use the portland company. quick ordering, no mistakes on the order, delivery received within a reasonable amount of time. we ordered a pizza, the half/half pasta (ravioli/spaghetti) with a meatball,

everyone raves about the food and i can't understand why. happy hour deals are ok - portions are small. food quality is average. our waitress, who was a little too friendly, said she worked there for 20 years - i found it surprising she couldn't answer simple questions about the menu... i don't mean to sound too negative / probably will go back - i'll just lower my expectations

delicious, authentic neopolitan pizza!. i have been to vince's more times than i can count, and every single time, the pizza is delicious.

my boyfriend and his friends are regulars there, to the point where servers know what they're going to order.

i have tried nearly all of their pizzas, but my favorite is the margherita. the sauce, the cheese - it's absolutely delicious. that first bite is always phenomenal. the margherita is also the favorite of my boyfriend who grew up in napoli and who has a great deal of family all over italy. we recently spent a month touring italy and eating pizza, and i have to say that vince's pizza comes extremely close to the deliciousness of pizza in italy.

i highly recommend vince's. if you don't like traditional, thin crust pizza that requires using a knife and spoon to eat, then this may not be for you. you should probably stick to your thick, pan-fried crusty california pizza kitchen or pizza hut.

great italian food. you will not find better pizza and pasta in washington. i am 100% italian (still have family there and visit them often) the people who don't like this food don't know good italian food. great pizza and the best arrabbiata i have had since last being in italy. if you like olive garden don't go here, unless you want to know what real italian food should taste like.

great family place. just good food at a good price, nothing fancy, if you don't have children with you sit in the bar, it has more room and a bit more relaxed, this is one you can take a chance on if trying something new, it is dependable, and nice

bad food and bad service. i've tried vince's 3 times because the reviews are pretty good. i keep thinking i'm catching them on an off day. every time i've gone in. the table clothes which are plastic (that is fine) but they are so sticky.... i have to get my arms unstuck to eat. 2 of the 3 times my waitress was clearly uninterested in anything or anyone and had no personality! on top that the staff had a very hard time answering questions about the menu items. simple things like what is homemade, what is the best thing here.
had to get up and ask for what we needed. one time i had to go to the register and ask if we could pay our check. i said know one has brought our check and we need to leave. . we had been sitting and waiting for it 20 mins and had been done eating for over 30mins. we still had every plate on the table, stacked on top of each other pushed to the table end waiting for someone to take them away. . water glass and my friends coffe empty. i'm not sure why it took so long. there were like 5 tables in there. food was at best outdated, bland and boring. bathrooms weree really dirty. on thelast visite we left out the bar area. it was a friday night. i would never do that again unless you have a big man to protect you. it was full of people who are serious drinkers! this is the kind of bar that you get drunk, cuss and then fall down! i won't go back again.

love vince's. my family and i have been going to vince's for over 20 years and we all love it. we particularly enjoy the tortellini and the pizzas and i enjoy the spaghetti with meat sauce.

we always get good, friendly service, prices are quite reasonable and they will also accommodate groups if you call ahead.

we usually go to the renton store but have also enjoyed the store in burien.

okay restaurant. just typical italian items on the menu. the pasta and pizza are good at first, but they go heavy on the cream and butter so you kind of get sick of it after a while. we sat in the bar and the drinks were okay, and there was free karoake, which was fun. the waitress was very friendly and attentive. the tables were really small in the bar area, so it made it a bit difficult to eat.
