we were so excited to go to this place because the reccomendations...but we had the most awful experience thefood was ok nothing espectacular and the service was terrible we even asked for certain wine and he brought other without saying anything we had to ask and he answered "oh sorry we dont have the other"

in retrospect, our meal was fantastic. our glasses were never empty, the food impressed, and the ambiance simultaneously relaxes you and makes you feel like you the paparazzi are waiting for you outside. exceptional meals in miami are a rarity. i’ve been to my share of expensive restaurants, with music far too loud, waiters caring far too little, and food falling far below expectations. villa azur is more than just a pretty face. its classic, exquisite french cuisine and unbelievably beautiful dining room add it to my go-to list for miami dining. and just in time for valentine’s day…hmmmm.

nice spot. great space/atmosphere, solid service. food was decent although not overwhelming. all of our dishes were solid - prosciutto wrapped prawns, truffle potatoes, asparagus, tuna tartar, and heirloom salad - with the exception of the steak which was pretty bland. i was a little bit surprised that there were some families with younger kids there. not sure if that is common or not.

amazing! a must. villa azur is the best restaurant in south beach and probably all of the east coast by far. they managed to raise the bar for all restaurants and bars near and far. this successful restaurant is expertly managed and every little detail has been carefully strategized. nothing has been over looked. the wine collection is unsurpassed. the food is expertly prepared by authentic french chefs. everything we sampled exceeds our expectations. villa azur's awesome ambience perfectly matches the delicious cuisine and the excellent service. you must experience this wonderful and energizing restaurant. jay
