relax. this is a small mexican restaurant that sits right on the water. there are floor to ceiling windows on the side facing the river; this added ambiance makes it so much easier to sit inside and view the beautiful sunset with a glass of wine and good company. the interior is a maritime theme, very nice. it is simple and comfortable; a place where you can really relax after a tortuous day.
this is a young restaurant and there are many wrinkles to iron out.
the menu is limited but the food is really good; the chef will not cook your food until it is ordered (i really like that). which means, be prepared to sit for awhile and relax while your dinner is cooking.
there is seating on the dock (for lack of a better word), outside, very nice to have lunch or dinner outside in the summer.
i highly recommend visiting vik's at least once, just to experience the friendly service provided by vik's staff.
