vapiano - grand central

we visited for lunch mid-week so our meals were served nice and quickly. i chose the prawn pasta with spinach with spelt pasta. i like that spelt pasta is on offer and not an additional cost. the prawns were big and very well cooked. i was surprised that there were more than four, which is usually the going rate at most standard italian places. i thought the spinach was a bit stingey but all in all, it was a well balanced, delicious pasta dish.

my husband chose the pulled pork pizza. plenty of toppings, lots of flavour, big points from him. 

it's nothing amazing but the two times i've visited a vapiano restaurant, i have been happy with the food on offer and service has always been friendly. fantastic that it's on the entertainment card, too. yum!

food was nice enough and delivered promptly. ordered a $50 bottle of wine which was served in a carafe and tasted like last week’s house wine. should have asked to see the bottle in hindsight. qr code ordering is great but defaulting to a 10% tip each time is a bit cheeky. fast food joint masquerading as a restaurant.

absolutely amazing! delicious food and i have a great aftertaste! the staff are very kind as well!

i started going to this restaurant about 7months ago and have been more then 20 times but i've noticed the last month it has gone down hill before the only thing i could complain about was the lasagna as it looks like a microwave meal however all other meals were spectacular now i've noticed the last month or two the quality has really gone down hill the care is not there and just looks slipped together i don't know if they have changed the bolognese sauce but it's now very bitter and the amount of times i've ordered takeaway and been standing around waiting until someone asks if i'm with uber eats and when i say no they get it within 30 seconds i really hope they get there act together as when i started going i thought toowoomba finally had a decent restaurant also i love the no cash idea

always happy to visit vapianos. lovely food, good sized servings (enough for leftovers the next day) and fast friendly service. only downside is they make their customers line up to order.

pretty good for a small group night out. the cocktails are good, ambience is lovely and the staff are very friendly. only three stars for two reasons: first for the recent menu changes where they lost some of their best offerings, and two in making the customers line up at the counter to give their order.

went for my mothers birthday and see loved everything. she is very particular so great to find a place she liked!! the only place opened past 9pm too! haha. so yummy, great service and made with love.

came here around 7:30pm on a friday - service was pretty quick given how busy it was. while it's styled very nicely, this isn't a super fancy restaurant - order and pay before you sit and get a table locator thingy so they can find you with your food. we had the mushroom risotto and the bolognese pasta. the food was very nice, but i don't think it lived up to the hype. i would go to la piziola instead.
