us sushi

good service, good sushi. service was great, was given very helpful suggestions for a beginner sushi eater. i tried the california tempura roll and it did not disappoint! the flavor was excellent and would definitely recommend it. the house salad with ginger dressing was nothing special. the dressing had more of an orange/citrus flavor than ginger. the prices were very reasonable for sushi. i would definitely go back!

management is just plain rude & told us she didn't speak any english although she spoke to her waitstaff very clearly.

prices are not good for the amount of sushi or sashimi received. spicy tuna salad was tiny. sushi roll had 5 pieces. i'll stick with wasabi or sushi republic. waiter taylor had zero personality.

this is more than decent sushi. wow, i didn't realize you even could, or would, write a review, especially a very negative review, without actually going to the restaurant, and actually eating at the restaurant. guess that's were the term "phone it in comes from". something just shouldn't happen, but they do, and that is scary.

this is not the greatest sushi restaurant in the world, not even in greensboro (i, personally, think imperial koi, phoenix asian, wasabi, and fuji are better), but it is pretty good sushi, and even more. and it really doesn't seem scary from the inside, or the outside.

i prefer the sushimi here, but most of the sushi offerings are good to very good. the tempura is solid, as are the dumplings, and even the hibachi dishes are worth giving serious consideration.

the staff is friendly, mostly efficient (young girls they do get weary), and several times they have worked to put together combo platters for family functions that were very well received, and completely consumed.

you can do much worse than this restaurant, much worse.

not worth the hype. i read a lot of positive reviews about us sushi and expected good quality sushi. wow, was i ever disappointed. the fish in my rolls was far from fresh (and very chewy!) and the hibachi shrimp meal left a lot to be desired. the rice in the meal was overcooked and bland. in fact, most of my meal was bland. all in all, it was edible but certainly not worth going back.

this place was a surprise. checked it out on urabanspoon and it had a good rating. it was a sunday so customer demand was small. apps were edamame and i had the panko fried softshell crab. my wife had a
small taste (all i would allow) and said she would return just for that. i had tnt roll which is fabulous. i also had the udon noodles, which is a meal in itself.

i lived previously in a city that had huge japanese businesses and their traveling exec demand good sushi. us sushi would have made them smile. great place. good fast service. wide menu which makes it very hard to choose. i'll most surely will return often.

the lunch bento box is a great deal. service is excellent and always fresh ingredients. staff well trained and knowledgeable.

loved it! the sushi was great. we had the fantastic special roll and were not disappointed. it lived up to the name. we also tried the moonlight and it was good but different from any other sushi i had tried. great service and the food came out fast!

good sushi. i really like us sushi! the food comes out fast. the service excellent. i'll be back again soon

cheerful and quick wait staff. tornado roll is yummy. pretty room and decorations. nice for talking lunch or dinner. you do pay a bit more for freshness and presentation, but that is worth it.

with reservation. food is great, but too pricey. lunch bento box is great value.

quality sushi. us sushi always uses fresh ingredients and you can taste it in their food. the sushi rolls are always very tasty, i can say i've ever had a bad meal here. the staff is very helpful and will explain any dish to you. the specialty rolls are my favorite, i can't even pick one as a favorite! if you like sushi, you certainly need to try us sushi!

i'm not a sushi person but humor my sushi-lovin' husband and college-age daughter from time to time. they love the sushi here. i had the cucumber in japanese vinaigrette starter (fabulous!) and then the japanese udon noodle soup with tempura shrimp. very yummy comfort food. next time, though, i think i'll get just the shrimp tempura because i wished my dish had more! service was great. two of us shared ice cream dessert and one had another sushi roll for dessert. happiness!
