very cool atmosphere, a little crowded though. the food was great! we got the fried pickles as an appetizer and the cowboy french dip as our meal. definitely recommend those. our waitress was ok and did her job but they should train them to be more personable.

four of us stopped in for drinks and appetizers yesterday (5/24/17).  the wild mushroom dip was exceptional, as were the fried pickles, buffalo wings and cocktails.  will definitely return the next time we are in omaha.

average at best. went here for the first time this evening. i always get my hopes up that i will find a new, enjoyable place to dine in the old market. i was told there would be a 40 minute wait due to reservations. the hostess was kind enough to offer us outdoor seating and the wait wasnt but 10 minutes. ordered a bbq burger at $10. the burger was bland, lettuce limp, tomato wedge flavorless and placed on a cheap supermarket bun. this was served with a side of what amounted to rather bland kettle style chips which could have easily come from a bag. i sensed urgency from the waitress to grab our plates and move in the next diners. cheap ingredients, bland burger, average waitstaff....i'd give it a c minus at best.

twisted fork. service was great! but...relleno was over powered by a heavy sauce. the mushroom appetizer was great but meatloaf a bit dry. we called to make reservations at 5:15 and were told the place was booked from 5 till 8:30. we get there at 4:40 and the restaurant had at least 5 or 6 four top tables and one six top open from 5 till 6:00 and a few later still. they need to fix the reservation software. sandwiches looked good and may be worth a try but not impressed with the rellenos.

great burger. the burger i had here was good. the service was attentive. will definitely visit again.

hope you have a while and won't have to go to the bathroom.... the food order, after taking an hour and fifteen minutes, was wrong and cold. the wait staff couldn't have cared less. i waited twenty minutes for my change. hope you have extra cash on hand- you're going to want to leave a great tip.

blackened salmon tacos. these tacos were delicious! we also had the chickin fried bacon and it was also very good.

great nachos. we stopped in for a snack one day and had the nachos. they were delicious, especially the obviously home made guacamole with big chunks of avocado. yummy!

really?. went with my family (wife & kids (4 & 7)) on saturday of memorial day weekend. menu sounded interesting and my wife had a groupon.

there are many good places to eat here in omaha (imo). what makes me want to come back (or not) is the service.

when we arrived, the place was only 1/2 full at best. we were told there was a 20 min wait because of a "kitchen hold". many of the empty tables had not been cleared. they offered to take a cell# and call us when they were ready to seat us. we accepted their offer and took the kids to a couple of nearby stores to browse and wait.

35 minutes later and still no call, we went back. they acted as if this was the first time they had seen us. when we pointed out they were supposed to call us and pointed to our name & # on their list, we were told "mistakes happen, let's just fix it and move on". *no apology offered* there were still tables that had not been cleared - in particular noticed the corner table inside and the "large" table on the patio.

we were seated outside. our server was friendly and helpful. the food came fairly quickly. however, food was placed and no one asked if we needed anything else. we flagged someone and asked for ketchup. after several minutes, we had to ask again - this time of the hostess - for ketchup. initially, she ignored us and then when she did bring the ketchup, she slammed it on our table as she passed by in a "huff."

the food itself was ok. one item of note: do not order the salmon fingers for the kids. my 4yo son loves fish (yes, i know - weird) but it was served with horseradish sauce. the staff did happily bring us some other options, but they do not have tartar sauce. luckily, he liked another sauce they did have.

overall, this was a bad experience. i would not go back based on the food alone (it was merely ok and not as 'interesting' as we thought it would be). but combined with the other issues, i would give this experience 2 stars out of 5.

had lunch here on a friday with friends. mostly an inventive comfort food menu with some interesting choices. that's a plus. but the food was just average and some of it below average. the service staff was friendly, informative, and fun and they made a difference. overall, just an average dining experience.

awful. i ordered an egg & cheese sandwich. it was missing the bacon, and the onions on the side were slimy and soggy- gross!!. my fiancé ordered the meatloaf sandwich and it was so awful he couldn't eat it and when i tried it i had to spit it out into a napkin. the salad greens were wilted, the balsamic was straight oil, and the waffle fries were soft like they'd been microwaved. the waitress didn't check on us once, didn't ask how the food was when the plates were picked up even though there was a sandwich with 2 bites taken out of it, and then took another 15 min to bring the check. she apologized for taking a long time to bring the check and said 'it got busy' there were 3 tables! and one of them was the employees sitting there! the decor is weird too; a bad mix of styles that clash, and the floor is filthy. this place needs jon taffer. i will never return.

i love stopping into this place for lunch, they have a very very fairly priced deli menu. my favorite item is the turkey gobbler a hot turkey and cheese sandwich served on thick rich bread with ginger to garnish. i always ask for a side of their seasoned sour cream to go with my thick cut waffle fries. the restaurant itself is very ornamentally decorated. i love the fact that their banquet has fancy pillows on it.

love the atmosphere and food!. been here twice and have thoroughly enjoyed both times. it's a unique atmosphere... almost classy mixed with western. great food and very friendly service. would recommend!

restaurant was hot!!! but besides not having any circulation.... we had the chile rileno?? it was awesome... also had the ragu which was good and the salmon taco's amazing..... the fried pickles were fair... but the risotto with white truffle sauce was to die for!! the serve molly was awesome!!

delicious. great atmosphere. nosy but that improved as the crowd thinned. would reccommend going later than 9:00 to avoid the noise.
