onion rings were greasy, ticket for order was lost in kitchen, after waiting for over 45 minutes the french fries were like leather and barely warm, fish was ok. it was not worth the almost hour wait for table or the 45 minute wait for food.

over cooked-dry-tacky service. an old place with old school looks and service. salad bar has limited selection and is not fresh quality. the food is usually over cooked and over priced for the quality. over the years the service and quality has all gone down hill. our group of ten plus will not be back. we have a new place right up the road from them amberjack seafood and steaks, great food, service and the price is right. our new local place to eat.

on one of our many trips to charlotte we stopped for dinner at twin tops fish camp in belmont. in addition to very tasty seafood - the fish and fried oysters were my favorite, this place also has a neat candy shop that will make you nostalgic for your favorite treats. i got a charleston chew. included with all meals is a generous portion of hush puppies and a salad bar. i was impressed that they even had gourmet toppings like craisins (which, as an aside, are apparently extremely difficult to find in countries like chile, where my cousin is currently studying; we got her a bag at costco when she came to be in the wedding!) for the salad bar. the food is plentiful - next time we decided we only needed one plate! fish camps are abundant in some parts of the nc piedmont. there are several on the way to this place from the highway. i'm really glad this authentic kind of local food still exists. platter that included everything - deviled crab, flounder,

great food, tarter (i've been told) is just "okay". i have eaten twin tops at my friends house more times than i can count. they always get a variety of food, and by far they are some of the best. the french fries i can't vouch for, as they are always ignored due to being soggy from the car ride, but my friends family says the tarter sauce is just okay. so they go across the street and get tarter sauce. (i can't tell the difference, but that's what they say).

great food. twin tops has the best sweet tea. the hush puppies and tarter sauce are awesome. their portions are very large. i would recommend the salt and pepper catfish. the staff is very friendly and the service is quick. i eat at twin tops every time my family and i are in town. mmmmm.:)

last week, the family and i were looking a place fairly close by to get a good meal, and we decided to hit one of the local fish camps. a short drive from our lake wylie home toward belmont yields at least three fish camps, including: twin tops, graham's
