best restaurant. this is a great restaurant for those very special times. i cannot say enough good things about their lam and gnocchi. don't know why orientals didn't like it. i am friendly to oriental women sometimes but when they say bad things you want to just tell them to clear out. i would still take out oriental women. i won't let this get in the way. anyway try and def go.

not good. i am not against paying more to get special and very good food but our dinner was a disappointment. i had fish and they just could not get it right. it was ruined after i sent it back and they tried again anyway so there was no point. my man had a steak and said it was tasteless. it looked sad.

what happen to this place!?!?!!??. new ownership, management has lowered the level of hospitality. greed is the worst sin you can commit in this business. when the manager/owner comes up to a table of 10 that has just finished dining and is ask to leave so he can cover himself from overbooking his place, i believe is wrong. when our party was booked, they did not inform us that there is a time limit, and our party was enjoying the evening & spending close to a g-note($$$). he destroyed the entire event for us...tutto no bene....

tutto bene...really !!. excellent!!!
head chef kee and pasta prince, delroy, prepare every menu item perfectly. tutto bene has been my "go to italian" restaurant for years because it consistently gives value for the buck. not just value, but quality. every meal produced by kee and/or delroy is superb. they have their menu down cold, oops, hot...and delicious. my favourite dish is the veal chop, humongous, prime cut, and always properly cooked. i always take the bone home to my dog, fermo, but it has been picked clean already!
pick any pasta...perfect. fish, oh yesh !! pizza, indeedsa ! wine list to satisfy the pickiest but stick with the house red, 1/2 or full litre, terrific. salads, scrumptious. appetizers, desserts...just ask. whatever they have prepared for that period of time, is smack on !
food...five star, unequivocally.
service, as good as anywhere in toronto, cheery, pleasant, perfectly paced and professional. owners, marco and giovanni, cycling themselves as hosts for lunch or dinner, authentic italians dedicated to satisfying their clients, and they do.
having a special celebration, the osteria has a smaller private dining area, ideal for large group celebrations which may want to be away from the general dining room.
reservations are a must as at this family friendly eatery is jammed, every night, for the usual supper hour between 7 and 8, every night!!! closed sundays.
pricing is in line with any restaurant of this calibre, not inexpensive, but not expensive. this means, expect to pay about $40 per person for appetizer, main and dessert. even with wine, breaking $50 per person is a push. the short of it is, this restaurant will exceed your expectations for quality, excellent food, prepared well and served properly.
it would be a real challenge to find an italian restaurant superior to tutto bene. buon appetito !

racial segregation at its best!. our party of 5 went to tutto bene for dinner and had arrived early. around 6 or so. we were one of the first tables there. when you walk in, there's a dining room to the left and one to the right. we were seated in the dining room to the left.

midway through our dinner, the dining room became full. and we realized that all the tables were asian customers. we just thought, a restaurant in richmond hill, just attracted a lot of asian customers. however, i took a trip to the washroom (which was located in the other dining room) and noticed that everyone was either white or black. not a single asian customer.

it was so blatantly obvious that i had to stop and look around just to make sure i was not mistaken. i was definitely not mistaken. the dining room on the right were for non-asian customers, while the dining room to the left were all asian customers.

wow!!! talk about racial segregation at its finest!

what an insult...would i ever go back? not after the way we were treated.

one of the best italian restaurants in toronto. i love the atmosphere and the staff. it's real authentic, not a commercial italian restaurant

walked in with my sister. asked how many we were and we said "two". the maitre d actually said "no chance" and moved on. we were too stunned to respond before we walked out.

i had a very good experience at tutto bene. i had tuna carpaccio for starter and black cod as main meal. both was outstanding. they also have a good wine menu. the place is really nice and barbara (the server) couldn't be better. strongly recommended!

bad impression. i walked in with my 7 month pregnant wife and waited, standing. no one acknowledged us for about 5 minutes, and when they did it was very unfriendly and unwelcome, as if we were being a nuisance. they didn't even offer my wife a seat. after 10 minutes of this blatant unacceptable behaviour, we left. i was recommended this restaurant by friends, but it is unlikely i will return. this short experience left me leaving in disgust and anger. i don't care how good the food is. unless it's a low cost restaurant, i'd tolerate the insolence, but eating with a bad feeling makes nothing taste good.

incredible food, super awesome service. only downside is it's a bit pricey. easy to spend 30-40 bucks if you get wine
