we went during evening time 🌆 , it’s located nearly at the end of the street. it’s home which was redecorate for a small cafe one the first floor. the ambiance is very quite and calm.

the only drawback is the seating. they had only only two tables. each table four people can be seated. with 8 people the places will crowded.

with that the food was really great better than i expected. it was the first time i tried tiramisu and korean cream cheese bun.

we started with tiramisu 🤤🤤 ,the main reason we went there 😂 and trust me it was worth it. it was soo creamy and light it just melted in mouth , the sweetness with the bitter coffee taste went so well together. it was yummy 🤤 we order it again😂😇.

then we had korean cream cheese bun . it was also so great that the bun was so soft , we could smell the garlic butter in each bite . we taught it was a savoury dish but with the cream cheese filling felt little sweet which was a good thing like a savoury dish with little bit sweet went well together and i really loved it❤️

lastly we went with the praline choux and macaroons. the praline choux had crunch exterior and soft creamy interior with hazelnut cream in the centre , with all three layers together tasted soo good 😍 and lastly with macaroons we had a coffee flavoured one.it was perfect with crunchy chewy and light , i could feel the coffee bitter which was very little but noticeable and tasted pretty good😌

overall it was really amazing experience , all pastries and breads were amazing and would highly recommended try them . we wanted to try dark chocolate petite gâteaux but we were so full with eating everything we decided to save it for next visit 🥳.

my rating will be 8/10 for all the dishes i had. the 8 is for the pricing which seemed little high for the foods i’ll definitely give 9.

oh, where do i start from? ghee roast chicken, hot chocolate, and croissant uff you gotta try . the pesto sandwich, burger . for 2 ppl 1000 . you can either go eat or order in! it's a small place in nungambakkam. but i love the quality and quantity.

@tukaway_cafe is cafe located in nungambakkam serving sorbet, burger, sandwich, crossiant, tiramisu, macaroons and more.

watermelon sorbet: it's a non diary vegan frozen dessert. just watermelon and sugar syrup blended in sorbet maker. it was yummy like eating watermelon.

chicken burger: must try, most yummy, juicy, satisfying burger i've had in my life. it's a tower burger with in house burger bun stuffed with caramelised onions, omelette, cheese, sauces, baked juicy chicken patty, tomato and lettuce. served with slices of cucumber, mayonnaise and tomato ketchup.

tiramisu: 3 layers of savoiardi lady fingers and 3 layers of mascarpone cream dusted with coffee powder with their logo. it was juicy and had nice coffee flavour in it.

expensive

customer service couldn’t have been nicer. he was quick, efficient and friendly. he elaborated the menu and helped recommend something for desert and the korean bun didn’t disappoint! customer service does go a long way! kudos guys!
