great atmosphere, food and service. i dined at tucci's as a result of a promotion from the lake oswego chamber of commerce. i was very surprised to walk in and find a very inviting and hip atmosphere. the exterior of the restaurant is misleading and don't let it foul you! additionally, the food was excellent, and the service was great as well. i will definitely be returning!

i enjoyed my dinner as did all of my fellow diners. they took reservations which was great. you can order salads and pastas and then top them off with a protein option like chicken, meatballs and or grilled shrimp. we ordered the meatballs as an appetizer and enjoyed splitting the two large meatballs into bites. i enjoyed my caesar salad also. the wine list had some good italian options.

excellent food , service and gompers gin drinks.. justin our server was excellent, food was fantastic , but the bar program really sets them apart from all the other places in lake oswego. if you want to try something from the bar they are more then willing to let you try it. great people , excellent cocktails.

worth the atmosphere, not worth price. the restaurant has a great indoor and outdoor seating area. food is a bit overpriced for the quality. i would not recommend the pasta carbonara or the pizza.

well that was interesting. friday night dinner and the place was hopping. no one to greet us for a minute then we were shown immediately to our table at the window nice spot. got our water and menu and then waited a long time for waitress to give us the specials. even longer wait to take our order, maybe table outside her zone? cheese plate for starter was wonderful, the cheese with truffle is worth the entire plate. mains were chicken marsala and risotto with duck breast. chicken was very good best i've tasted. risotto was good and the mushrooms wonderful. the duck breast, well it was dead. really dried out dead. didn't get the normal quick stop by the waitress to see how things were but another waiter saw that needed seething. refire was quick, a minute too quick, duck fat not fully rendered. desert was strawberries and blueberries. liked it. overall some high points but just not coming back with all the other restaurants to try. not a thumbs down as some of the meal great, but not up either due to misses.

excellent, fair prices, good service

great lunch. my wife and i went to tucci's for lunch on a friday. i had the sauteed seasonal vegetables with grilled salmon, and she had a margaretta pizza. both were delicious. my salmon was perfectly grilled and seasoned, and the vegetables were not overcooked and very tasty. the wood-oven pizza was done to perfection. great atmosphere and service as well. a winner!

mothra says... hail to the chef. ok, so this is a really good restaurant. alright, i said it. however............. this has been a really difficult review for me. k and i were in celebration mode about 5 weeks back and wanted to try this italian restaurant on a ave in "el-oh." although i made a reservation for 7pm, we were seated promptly in an modern restaurant at about half full with patrons.
after a few moments, jay our server greeted us and asked for our drink order. you all know, in this aspect i am rather predictable: vodka martini, shaken, no vermouth, lemon twist. k said, "make it two." i asked what the corkage fee for my bottle of brown zin would be? jay relied: "$20.00." woof! brown from chiles valley, a few miles east of st helena has been my favorite wine for about 4 years. i have a lot of favorite wines, but if i am forced to choose, this is it. afterwards, i looked at k and we both agreed to put away our 2nd bottle that we toted in with us, a very nice chard.
jay asked for our full order and i slowed him down. i advised jay that we were in no hurry and yes we would like to order our appetizer now. jay did tell us that this was his last weekend at tucci and he was leaving the area. good luck to him.
after a short wait, our prosciutto and mellon arrived. what a beautiful plate. ripe melon with rosettes of prochutto, shaved parm, and a balsamic reduction. really a nice dish. after we finished our cocktails, we ordered our salads. all of the salads were wihin $1 or $2 of the same price point. i had perused the salad menu but nothing was inspiring me. i asked jay if there was anything off the menu. "absolutely," he mentioned. "we have a beautiful caprese that i recommend." sold. and it was beautiful. k's caesar salad arrived and she enjoyed it. later however, i was a little dismayed to find that this salad was priced at $15. what the? don't you think that a salad priced double should be mentioned by the server? back to the salads... both were very tasty. despite all this, as i mentioned in the beginning, the chef here is amazing.
onward to the entrees. the menu is elegant and simple: primarily italian and seafood.,, two of my favorites. it did not take me long to decide nor for k. jay opened our brown zin to let it breathe. 25 mins or so later, k's pappardelle agnello which is a lamb ragu and wild mushrooms arrived. my house made ravioli stuffed with shrimp, bay scallop, vegetables, herbs, ricotta, and mascarpone, all in a shrimp cream broth was presented. this homemade ravioli dish was absolutely unreal. perfectly paired with my brown zin. su-poib ! k tried a bite of my ravioli and i had a bite of her pappardelle agnello lamb ragu dish. again, the wine paired beautifully. two outstanding dishes from the chef.
dessert for me included gelato and a coffee, k enjoyed her limoncello. another 2 1⁄2 hour dinner for moth & k.
at the beginning of this review i mentioned some angst on my part. the chef, whose name is unknown to me should be crowned king of lake oswego. but the management? i just felt nickel and dimed all night long. hopefully they will open their eyes and give some back to the customer. we will be back to try other amazing entrees on this simple but elegant menu.

overall, the food is very nice and the wine is lovely. i would class it in the nice and reliable category of restaurant.

great for that biz dinner. dining at tucci over business has become a regular occurance. why? not because it's stuffy or quiet, but rather because the food is excellent, service is on par, and it's great to know we can do business without feeling like we are bogged down by it. thanks, tucci!

outstanding!. exceptional food, great selection on the menu and great service. very warm and comfortable decor and a definite upscale feel from the locals. highly recommended for italian seafood and traditional classics.

amazing! lunch was perfect, just the way we ordered it. my friend is very picky and was in love. erin our server/bartender was amazing. just right on target. service was amazing.

love this place-- especially accomodating, good food. we were first seated in a spot too cold, the hostess offered a place by the fireplace bit she warned it may be too warm, we stayed put. she came back a second time to offer a seat we took that was just right. very impressed that she persisted in finding us a comfortable spot. btw-- this was on a friday night, no reservations. great service; will absolutely go again.

my friends and i had dinner at tucci sunday night and it was outstanding. sat in the outside patio and ordered the "menu del giorno". four courses including, salad, pasta, entree, and dessert. got to choose from three different entrees. everything was great, and total cost was $26 for each person. highly recommended.

happy hour on the patio is our new favorite thing. beautifully arranged with tables not too close and amongst some pretty landscaping. each time we try three or four dishes with a glass of wine...and go home happy! friendly, professional people with good attitudes and great recommendations. this is our hidden gem. the crab bruschetta is excellent.

very popular local establishment. had wonderful filet and scallops while listening to live music. will definitely return.
