awesome food. great portions!. the food is delicious and the portions are very large! the service is not always the friendliest but they make up for it with their food!

consistently delicious food with fresh ingredients. their service is also consistently fast and the people who work there are very nice. if you like cuban deliciousness check it out. i eat here about once a week.

i'm from atlanta and was referred by the hotel. i ordered the south of the border to go and was very pleased! fast, affordable, made to order, fresh ingredients, and plenty of food. the cashier also let me try out a few of the sauces, all made in house and delicious! great choice.

my wife brought home a dish from this restaurant, from her work place.  first class flavor, loved the green and white sauces.

love this place! food is always hot and fresh. the classic chicken chop and the roasted pork chop is my favorites. my favorite sauce is the curry.

i had the south of the border today with seasoned vegetables. there's grilled chopped chicken breast, lettuce, tomatoes, quacamole, sour cream, cheddar cheese, salsa over yellow rice. the seasoned vegetables was a mixture of orange and yellow carrots with broccoli and cauliflower. i really enjoyed this, don't forget to get your vip card, after five visits you get a free chop!!

somebody please come to tropical grille in easley and teach them how to cook!! when it first opened it was really good, but the last two times i've been the bread is hard, the chicken is burned and tough!! i would rate them a 2.0, but it's not on zomato to rate!

cuban inspired place in greenville. pretty simple dishes with various toppings mainly consisting of a protein (chicken/pork) and rice. good variety of sauces to try. frequent diners card actually worth keeping track of. after 5 meals, get your 6th free. will be back!

tropical grill was a pleasant suprise.. i am in greenville visiting some college friends and stumbled across this restaurant. everything looked great, smelled great, and tasted even better. great service and great food. healthy and filling. give them a try and you will be happy that you did.

tropical grille is a cuban restaurant popular for their chops;  a protein of your choice chopped up and served over vegetables and rice.  i wasn't quite sure what i wanted, so i opted for the classic, grilled chicken breast served over yellow saffron rice.   i feel like you can never go wrong with a menu item called "the classic", and this dish did not prove me wrong.  what really makes the meal is the sauce that you put on top of everything.  i tried two different sauces that i loved. the first one was a cilantro garlic cream sauce, and  the second was a yellow curry sauce. 

this food was amazing. i have never had cuban food and after being tired of the same old thing decided to give this place a try. i love it. it's quick, delicious and healthy. i will definitely be going back.

taste: delicious, savory, and fresh. the yellow rice (which i was told to be saffron rice) complemented the seasoned and grilled cuban chicken very nicely whereas the black beans and pita bread provided a neutral goodness. they have these signature sauces that are to die for. for instance, i got the sweet curry sauce, and it was a creamy semi-sweet blend that actually made the chicken a whole lot more flavorful, to my surprise. to me, its taste was far more superior than the curry dipping sauce they serve at the melting pot.

quality: another reviewer stated that their chicken is hormone free and whatnot. since i got the chicken, i can say that the grilled taste was there. from what i've seen, they cook the meat ahead of time and serve them in large heated food trays that are prepared for fast orders. i have no complaints there, since they do serve carry out more often.

service: it was my very first time dining on cuban food and at tropical grille! i know that it may not be authentic as we wish it to be, but since the food is so delectable here, i'm assuming the real cuban food must taste even better. the cashier was so amicable and told me right off the bat that i would enjoy the deluxe or regular cuban chop, and she was right! other customers came by and were telling me that it was very difficult to order one item since they are all legitimate. the restaurant is casual and i didn't see any waiters/waitresses, so the place is down to earth.

price: inexpensive! i paid $13 for two people, and had leftovers. well, i only ate half my bowl, and had plenty to take back home with me. for excellent taste and quality, i don't mind the price at all. :)

this restaurant is awesome. it is "semi-fast food", kind of like a five guys burgers. you can dine there, the food is cooked to order, and the food is ready in 5 minutes. a good amount of their business is takeout.

the food is absolutely amazing, super high quality. even though it isn't fancy, it is absolutely one of the best restaurants in greenville.

the service is also a++. very fast, very friendly.

i recommend the cuban chop, and make sure you try the curry sauce!

cuban food. awesome and cody was an added plus ! i was in the float in kwst fla in the early eighties you have a wonderful coffee with cinnamon this was from before castro i know ! wonderful after dinner coffee --- the yellow rice is very good but it aint all cuban there is more to it ... love the mojo as a meat marinate but needs more oranges and lemon ! yes i am a foodie and know the favors ! been there done that so get home taste do not be afraid of the culture ...
