we were there today for a team party. when we arrived, our server took our order. about 45 minutes later the table next to us got their order, and after about 15 minutes they noticed one of the pizzas they got was supposed to be ours. by that time it was cold. another half hour went by and we still didn't even have our appetizer. i went up to the front to let them know we had waited an hour and a half for our food and we were leaving. our food was about to come out of the oven, so they boxed it up to go, and gave us a discount, but we were still charged $70 for 2 medium pizzas, an appetizer, a garden salad (it was only lettuce and cheese, no veggies)and 4 drinks.

i like you trackside, but you are expensive. trains pass less than 20 feet from the dining room wall. just try not tothink about derailment. when they go by. it's scary fun.

based on one experience so far, i really like this place and hope to return. my only complaint is parking. my full size pickup is a bit big for a crowded lot but there is street parking too, if you can find it. otherwise, i enjoyed my pizza and side salad, the service, and watching trains go by as i ate.

my 8" personal "supreme" (i think they call it the a train) pizza was $15 which was a little surprising but it was good and i enjoyed it. the price wouldn't keep me from coming back but i couldn't eat here everyday. they do have lunch deal for $9 where you get pizza by the slice, unlimited i think. great way to try different flavors.

i love that they deliver, i love that it's gourmet and fast! it's very delicious, just be warned that they over saturate their pizza in spices. if you're not a fan of extremely bold flavors, then this place is not for you.

go somewhere else. i'm sorry, but i was definitely not impressed by this pizza place and i cannot believe everyone thinks this is "good pizza." i went for the lunch buffet and received horrible customer service. i am also pretty sure that a frozen pizza would have tasted better than this stuff! the taste and ingredients is nothing to be remembered. please try out abella's or route 66! :) plus, they're cheaper!

trackside: some of the best pizza in the puget sound region!. trackside offers some of the best pizza in the puget sound region. the crust is excellent - not too crispy, not too soft - and it is made from freshly made dough, which is then hand-tossed to perfection. in addition, their traditional red sauce is some of the best around and you can taste that it is made right there on site with fresh oregano, not just opened out of a can. the mozzarella tastes like a quality whole-milk mozzarella and other cheeses are quality, as well. trackside offers both american traditional toppings, such as pepperoni, and more upscale toppings, such as artichokes and kalamata olives, and they have some unique and delicious combinations. my husband's favorite is the "chihuahua al pacifico," which includes pepperoni, italian sausage, fresh garlic, and fresh (not canned) jalapenos. we both like the "ol' '97" (minus mushrooms, substitute artichokes) and the "palace on wheels"; however, my very favorite order is a cheese pizza with extra cheese and fresh tomatoes with oregano or basil because the cheese and the sauce are both so good, it is a shame to cover them up! trackside is not "cheap" pizza, but in my opinion it is a much better value than pizza that costs almost as much that is filled with preservatives and artificial ingredients. it also isn't "fast" pizza because it is made fresh when you order it, but you can taste the difference in quality! it is definitely worth any wait time.

besides making some of the best pizza around, trackside is a fun place to eat. it is located in an historic old building in downtown puyallup, right next to the train tracks as the name would indicate. they let the old, rustic bricks show on the inside walls and the décor on the walls are vintage advertisements, which complete the historic feel. trackside has also gone out of its way to make its restaurant fun for kids. we love to take our young nephew here who it always thrilled to build his own personal pizza and take it to the counter to say, "pie up!" one time when we were there they gave him a free wooden train whistle!

if you care about the quality of your pizza and enjoy eating in a fun atmosphere, you will love trackside pizza! if you prefer to eat your pizza at home, they also deliver to a limited area. taste the difference of pizza made the old-fashioned way, fresh for you.

this is a great little pizza joint in historic downtown puyallup! the pizza is delicious & the kids love being able to make their own! the fact that the building shakes when a train goes by just adds to the ambiance! great place to meet for dinner if you take the sounder train home from work!

this was probably the slowest service i've ever had in a restaurant. the food is great, once you get it.

gourmet pizza but very kid friendly - they can make their own! most fun if you sit where you can see the trains. a little pricey but worth it for fabulous pizza.
