had a chance to eat breakfast at tommy’s diner before the tedx talk at ohio state university. the place is a classic diner with a friendly greeting at the door. food was tasty and service was personable. prices were reasonable. coffee could be better. i would definitely come back!

tommy's diner is the spot for you if you like classic american breakfast with a greek twist. it's not fancy. it's not healthy. it's waffle house prices with above waffle house quality and service. no booze here so if that's a must for your brunch, forget it. if you're coming off a long week or starting a new one and liking to refuel or survive a hangover, you're gonna need a lil tommy's. parking is ample in lot attached.

there are weekends where cooking breakfast or brunch is not on everyone's most wanted to do list, however, if you want a classic no frills delicious filling breakfast/brunch then you just visit tommy's.

pros: tommy's has their own parking lot; food would remind you of something your mom or grandmother might cook; delicious, cheap, great atmosphere and people.

cons: seat yourself option ( i like structure and order 😊) and no place to hang purses under the bar.

go and try this place, you will not be disappointed.

i love tommy's! such a classic diner atmosphere and their hash browns are easily the best i've ever had. it's a little crowded but that almost makes it more fun.

as far as diners go, don't get much better. service was a little slow, but that is being picky. food was tremendous. daughter's pancakes didn't even need syrup (but of course we used some). wife loves the reuben. my cajun bleu cheese burger was dynamite. they had about 6 specials that change daily. i noticed a lot of regulars. owner seats most patrons and recognizes faces. great atmosphere. i will be back! great spot!

it’s easy to see why tommy’s diner has been around for so many years, and why people love to come here. their breakfast is fantastic and the service is great. i would recommend trying tommy’s on maybe a weekday morning, if you prefer a less hectic atmosphere. if you can’t come until the weekend, it’s still ok…like i said before, the crowds didn’t seem to slow down the wait staff or the kitchen much at all. either way, if you haven’t been there yet, head out w. broad until you see this really cool road sign lingering in the sky. your taste buds will thank you.

our food varied from average to amazing. our service couldn’t have been any nicer and the food was out to us in adequate time. forget what the outside of tommy’s diner looks like, there is plenty of good stuff inside.

a place you won't ever forget. walked in to tommy's not knowing what to expect. left with a big smile on our faces asking how did we luck into this place? i can't remember ever having a better time eating breakfast. the food was awsome and the service was beyond compare. i've never been in a place where everyone was so friendly and seemed to be connected somehow. if you have a bucket list this place should be on it. i can't wait till i can get back to columbus so i can go back to tommy's.

walking through the door you are greeted by tommy himself as he directs traffic to shuffle people in and out. i sit at the bar as i strick up a convo with the neighboor to my left before long my neighboor to the right has chimned in! the seavers were fast and efficant. the good was good but what makes this place sing it's own song is the atmosphere! you can walk in along and leave with a new best friend! let's put it this way the line to pay is just as long as the line waiting for a table. i must for anyone in columbus!

tommy's is a downtown destination filled with a continuous flow of steady customers. the décor is quintessential of the 50's and 60's with lots of likenesses of jam

when walking into the door, i noticed it was a family owned buisness. until i heard the owner scream at his employee in front of the whole restuarant. i ordered a gyro, it was not real gyro meat. was a little disapointed. it's a fast food diner. to bad they don't have a drive thru!

best diner in ohio. i love everything about tommy's execpt the ridiculous crowds. its packed for a reason. everything on the menu is delicious. i have never been disappointed there. go before noon if you want a seat at lunchtime. daily specials are usually the way to go. staff are friendly. neighborhood is shady but they have their own parking lot.

just great!!!. one of the best restaurants in columbus and the best service i have to in columbus and maybe in my life.

there is not much else to say but that you have to come here for brunch, it was a great all around-food, price, service. it is exactly what i expect from a diner and even comes with very cool and nice owner, who ensures great service and food.

in closing , all that has to be said is that if you find your self wanting some good diner food , especially breakfast you have to come check out tommy's diner. it will definitely satisfy all your food needs.
