good but very expensive. make sure to walk in with a wallet full of money because otherwise you'll find yourself spending quite a bit. they're quesadillas should be skipped but the pascale's ice cream, the mocha coffee and the watercress soup are all incredibly flavourful.

soooo good! the lemon shortbread is fabulous. my daughter gave me a gift basket full of thyme & again goodies. the lemon shortbread butterfly cookies are a melt-in-your mouth lemony treat. soo good! i can't wait to try more things from this store! :)

to start, i was attending a catered function. simply put, they ran out of food. roughly 25 guests did not get served, and it took roughly 90 minutes for them to show up with law laws deli food. we attempted to order pizzas, but they actually had the gaul to pull out a contract and block it being delivered. complete failure.

disappointing. i was quite disappointed with thyme & again. i dropped in for lunch and ordered two servings of the filet mignon with sesame sauce and a side for each: parsnips and carrots and basmati rice. it took approximately 15 minutes while i waited at the counter for the waitress to retrieve the filet, sauce and side from the fridge, plate it, and warm it up in the microwave (yup you heard right !). the staff as a whole was very slow. it was almost like they were walking in quick sand. painful to watch. by the time i paid for it and took it to my table (which took another 2 minutes) the meat was ice cold. it was nearly raw in the middle, and one of the two portions was at least 1/3rd gristle and fat. to add insult to injury the standard issue knife they provided was very dull and we both ended up having to basically saw back and forth around 10 strokes to cut through each piece of the meat. i asked the waitress for a sharper type of knife and watched as she asked several of the staff. in a few cases they reached for butcher knives and laughed at her, in others they merely shrugged their shoulders. alas they were not able to come up with a proper knife and we were left to struggle with our dull utensils after receiving a "sorry that's all we have". the espresso was also disappointed. they need to invest in a proper espresso machine (see coffeegeek.com for reviews/blogs, etc.). it had no crema and was burned, resulting in a strong, bitter taste. all in lunch with the espresso including a soup came to $53.00. i don't mind paying those sorts of rates but in this case thyme & again fell staggeringly short. i will not return.

cutest little place. thyme & again is my favourite place to take a quiet lunch, grab a great handmade sandwich with the best coleslaw i've ever eaten and a crunchy dill pickle. their soups are to die for and service is quick and sweet. the atmosphere is great, although on the main level and patio, there is limited seating. if you go up the back stairs, there's a lot more room/chairs/tables to house more people, although the light and airy feeling on the main floor is a lot more attractive. there's decorations and knick-knacks for sale and i often find cute little things to buy for friends and family there. overall, it's a great place to go for a coffee, a snack or a meal. it's suitable for children, working or just meeting up with friends for a great meal.

delicious catered lunch!. this is the second year we have ordered lunch for our staff on april 30 and both times we have been very pleased. the sandwiches have been delicious, the salads lovely and the desserts mouth watering! even the four special diet sandwiches ( gf & vegetarian) were delicious. having everything arranged on ceramic platters and serving bowls made the presentation much nicer. i would not hesitate to refer thyme & again to any office looking for a catered lunch in house.

some folks at a local theatre said it would be a great place for a pre show treat.

my partner and i went over, and upon entering we notice two lines of people, so we picked one. after waiting a bit we got to the counter. wrong line. it was the pay line.

we asked if we could order there, and we rudely got told to go to the other line, so we made our way. after another wait in line, we made it to the counter, again.

we wanted to prefer a treat, so we got some cake. after ordering we went back to the other line, met grumpy again and paid.

then we went back to the order line and got our cake. guess what is arbitrarily sliced, cake. clearly different sizes. same price, very different sizes. as i was handed a sliver, i took it clearly as a comment on my weight.

when i pointed out the difference in portions, i was met with a huff and an eye roll to the likes of a valley girl would give her father when he makes a bad joke. it was truly epic.

after finally getting equal portions for equal pay, we attempted to get around the, what i assume are regulars, who just stood right in our path. just try and find a table! i dare you.

know what made this whole thing worse, i realized as i was eating that this was the catering company that totally forgot to bring enough food to a wedding to which i was a guest. wish i had never walked in.

i will never get that money nor my time back. and to top it off, the flavour did not compensate for the grief.

i read the reviews and was really excited to try this place out however upon visiting it i found the food to be rather bland and very expensive for what i was getting. however the atmosphere was nice and friendly and so was the customer service.

this is a great dessert spot! they have a wide selection of baked goods, especially a wide selection of cakes that you can get a slice of. i had a mini cheesecake and i loved the different flavours they had, it was very good and unique!

got a chocolate tart there once since i heard so many great things about this place, however the tart was all liquid-y and messy to serve. the tart was wayyyyy too sweet! i have a big sweet tooth and even i could not stand how sweet it was.

popped by for a quick sandwich after work... i found the sandwich overpriced for what it was, very mediocre. the pea soup was very tasty so i would order that again. i guess they specialize in their desserts or catered meals perhaps so i guess i just didn't try what they are known for, their sandwiches are definitely not it. the atmosphere was cozy so i would try them again for coffee and dessert.

very cute little cafe. stopped in for a light lunch and had the soup of the day and a coffee. the soup was very good and came with a nice bun. good coffee, great decor, atmosphere and food. highly recommend.

looking forward to gluten-free pizzas, to take home and bake. the old favourites like margherita or seasonal ones like the fall harvest. yummy!
