theo's fried pickles are the best i have ever had. they are crisp fried, thick cut slices. mmmm-mmmm good.

great local find. we had driven by the billboard at beltline and jefferson hundreds of times, but not until we decided to find places close to home to go to did we try theo's. we give it a two thumbs up. its an old fashioned diner, with a bar attached so you get whichever atmosphere you're in the mood for.
after a day of yard work, a cold margarita was what i craved. bridgette, our waitress was great. just the right amount of sarcasm mixed with friendly, fast service. great drink prices.
we tried the chicken fried steak, fried pickles, beef enchiladas, spicy chicken sandwich and wings. food has been mixed the best so far are the fried pickles - they are thick cut and deliciously crisp fried. the enchiladas were homemade and again delicious (there was nothing left on my plate). the spicy chicken sandwich and chicken fried steak were a bit dissappointing. they seemed to be frozen foods...not bad, just not what we expected.
overall, theo's is a good diner and great locals bar. we are planning a return trip for the breakfast. will let you know what we thought.
