love this place. they have an awesome breakfast/lunch selection and everyone is always very friendly. my family has made this a staple breakfast place.

i am from europe and every time i have family visiting we go here once to enjoy a really good american style breakfast. we love the food and ambiance of this family owned american breakfast place. we are calorie concious so if we eat here, it will be our only meal of the day (or week).

we didn't enjoy our lunch unfortunately. my sense from the prior reviews and what others were eating is that the totem is best at breakfast foods in large quantities for low prices. but my tuna melt was below average, and the green salad and croutons were cafeteria grade from a bag.

have been eating here for 20 years. present owners do a good breakfast and lunch, but dinner has been really uneven. this past week had, without question, the worst steak i have ever been served. think the cook substituted a cheap, really bad cut for their top of the line steak.

good food. love the bacon. the sign out front says something like "our bacon is so good, it should have its own protection plan". this is true. breakfast here today was very, very good. my daughter had french toast, my wife and i bacon and eggs. this was our first time here and we will be back. large portions of very good food. i am not a big breakfast out person as it is a difficult meal to elevate to anything one might get excited about. these guys do that. food was very good for something as simple as bacon and eggs. service was fast and very friendly (not in the new friend for life way) in a homespun way. i live a long way from this restaurant, but will be back as soon as i can.

my new weekend breakfast place. all thee waitstaff are happy and kind, and really work as a cohesive team. one of the waitresses told us they has the best bacon in town and she was right on the money. best bacon ever! great environment with good food and never had to wave any staff down for more coffee or anything else.

excellent example of a down home family restaurant that serves generous portions of favorites the entire family will love. family run and it shows with friendly service. look around at the patrons...they are mostly locals. and usually the best restaurants are where the locals eat.

happy dinner. my family has been eating at the totem for over 20yrs. we have never left hungry or disatisfied with the meal or service. the owners ( bliss and joyce ) are wonderful people and the treat their staff and customers like family.

totem is our favorite breakfast place. totem has been an everett favorite for decades. my husband and i try to plan doctor appointments and other everett trips for the morning so we can stop in for a good totem breakfast. it seems to be the only place where we can get hashbrowns that are not slathered in grease. we've also eaten lunch and dinner many times at totem, enjoying their large and very tasty french dip, spaghetti, chicken fried steak, prime rib, and other items.

i love the totem and make an effort to eat brekfast there every few weeks. the place gets busy so you need to get there early but their breakfast is the best around town. i actually haven't eaten lunch or dinner there but i'm sure it's good.

stopped by for lunch, and was impressed with the food and the service. i ordered the turkey and cheese sandwich with a side salad (you can get fresh fruit, soup, or fries) and my mother got the hot beef sandwich. the turkey sandwich was just right, and the honey mustard dressing was good. her open face sandwich was accompanied by mashed potatoes and gravy (both tasted like they were just made from scratch). i even ordered a strawberry milkshake that was perfect! it had fresh berries and whipped cream and a refill enough for a whole tall glass. definitely worth checking out. they serve breakfast all day and have a business lunch special from 11-2, for $7.85.
