mmmmm. telway has the best, late night, greasy, melt in your mouth burgers in the state. drunk, hungry, bored, broke. these burgers are inexpensive and delicious. everyone matters at telway. doesn't matter how you're dressed, if you can afford one burger and a coffee or twenty with cheese. the atmosphere is classic and everyone in there us smiling and talking. go in the side door for pick up and get crowded in that little room and everyone is just as nice as can be. i could eat telway everyday.

classic decades old slider joint with 2 locations selling super cheap small burger patties with grilled onions,,, the grease leaks deep into the bag. so delicious after a night of drinking or a quick lunch. they known and thousands agree best coffee in the state selling 3000 cups per day,, the double double rules you gotta grab a couple for only a buck each or 55 cent when eating at counter inside.

only four words are needed: great sliders, original atmospere. it's like a late 50's burger stand right out of a picture. the staff is always friendly, and the food comes quickly (considering they use handfuls of real, fresh beef).ask for everything on your burger. if you don't want cheese and onions, sorry, you don't really want a slider.

best diner in detroit. this is the best midnight diner in detroit area. good burgers and fries - fresh, hot, and prices are great. small menu but makes it simple to order.

great food better than white castle friendly staff has a classic feel more than just burgers and carryout clean place for sure as well they take price in their establishment!

yummy greasy burgers cheap and support a local place. i recommend a double meat burger since i prefer a favorable meat to bun ratio. my partner likes the chilli fries with cheese!

a small establishment with big taste. their burgers are good but my recomendation is to get coney dogs and chili cheese fries. the best coneys i've ever had

telways! staple foodgroup!. i have had burgers and coneys from this place since the 70's. to me, it should have a historic marker just outside the door. i now live 50 miles away but, whenever i travel within 5 miles of this burger place - i go out of my way to get a carry-out. if you like greasy spoon places, this is the best!

another try.... to be honest, i really didn't want to give telway a neg review. i wanted to like this slider palace. but i did flick the "does not like", so let me explain...

i sat at the counter right next to the very small grill. my waitress took my order for two cheeseburger sliders with grilled onions. i got two regular sliders w/o onions. should have said something--but didn't. the sliders i got were terribly overcooked. and dry. the grill toasted buns were great. the french fries were great. the price of the meal with a soda was great: $4.01.

i need to try again, here.
