excellent place to experience the irish pub atmosphere. really noisy but great fun. good to have a nice talk with a pint.... but you would have to stand most of the time as it gets quite crowded.

an authentic and beautifully preserved victorian pub, with mosaic marble tiles floors, hand carved mahogany furnishing, astonishing glass stain windows and the fact that penny dreadful was filmed here (the cheeseball in me), never mind the eons of history to this 1780 old pub. didn't eat but the pub grub look appealing in baskets or on food boards. this was a visit for whiskey and guinness which there was plenty off. a vibrant and relaxing atmosphere saw a few hours well spent chatting to locals. prices are responsible and is well located if gallivanting around the temple bar area.

had a really great proper irish lunch. our last meal in dublin. although at the temple bar area, the prices don't show it and it's not so touristy as one might think. to be completely honest, my choice was made after seeing andrew zimmerman show in dublin.

good pub to experience a true dublin experience. environment is dark but relaxed,staff is nice and attentive. went for a white lager pint 🍻 and the famous guinness stew that was great with two garlic bread slices as side. right on temple bar but not so overpriced. recommended for a nice pub experience.

an old pub with ambiance. gets pretty crowded in the evenings. if rousing atmosphere and a buzzing crowd is what you are after, this is a good place.

staff is friendly but service can get a bit slow at times as the place is always packed at night time and for a reason:  it is a fun irish pub. go early if you want to get a seat.

great pub, mainly for tourists (like me) who want to enjoy a pint of beer in good pub. i really enjoyed the atmosphere there and very nice staff. live music downtstairs was amazing and for me it was the great spirit of ireland.
