i like nice places. the kind of place you go to for a relaxing meal. hidden behind the buildings this gem is surprisingly nice. the food is surprisingly good and the service was surprisingly attentive. we stopped by on a beautiful evening with no reservations and no expectations, but when i finished my black & blue 10oz ribeye, and beth her salmon dish, we left with a good feeling of satisfaction and a pleasant memory of occoquan, va. we found the place on urbanspoon, asked a city dweller to confirm their opinion of this place, and then strolled through the city to its finest outdoor table. i strongly recommend this place for a non-stressed, tastie meal. it is truly a nice place for good food.

really top notch attentive service. i ate outside in a lovely garden setting. my short rib sandwich was delectable. i was able to sub a small side salad for chips for s small up charge. highly recommend.

the secret garden cafe is a hidden gem in historic occoquan. located at the end of the main street, you'll miss it if you don't know what you're looking for. their outdoor patio is a great place to kick back and relax in the lazy spring afternoons. the food is good and not to expensive considering it's in historic touristy occoquan. i recommend their brunch but make sure you make reservation before hand and get there early as space is limited. overall, i think the secret garden is the best place to dine in old town occoquan.

this place was awesome! great food, awesome service, unparalleled location, and an atmosphere that is desirable. can't wait to go back. you can see it my wife's face that we had a great time.

the breakfast i had during sunday brunch not only looked great but it tasted fantastic! what a quaint and unique find. and service was so attentive. we chose to order from the menu. just wanted to try something different. perfect choice; challah french toast & spanish breakfast. pics are posted on urban spoon. it is a "do over". i'm sure you will agree.

husband & i tried this place based on us. sooo happy we did! we were in from florida via the auto train & needed a saturday brunch. restaurant was difficult to find, tucked behind other shops so look for the canopy. staff was very friendly and served us with delicious blueberry mini muffins. he got the spanish breakfast & i got the breakfast burrito. everything was fresh and the quality was exceptional. i heard the owner talking about how they only have been open 6mo. so impressive, wish we had something quaint, affordable and with such high quality back home. city was beautiful too so made for an exceptional experience. happy this set the bar for the rest of our vacation!

great place to eat. had lunch and dinner there this week. great little place to have a fresh cooked, very well made meal! i would say this is one of the best places i have had dinner in a long time. i do not like chain restaurants and i am very picky about what i eat, as i enjoy gourmet cooking myself. the staff is very friendly and helpful. i would eat here again soon!
