really!. i have been to the pub in crestview hills many times, usually with other adults, and have always enjoyed the experience. however, in my most recent visit i brought my kids along. they are young and well behaved. and since they enjoy eating in restaurants they don't throw fits. we were seated in the only area of the restaurant that could accommodate a high chair. we browsed the menu and waited to be greeted by a server. we waited and waited. there were two servers in the section... eye contact was made. they knew we were there. 15 minutes after being seated we still had not been greeted. the couple in the booth behind us were seated by the hostess and greeted by a server. we left. the gm was nice and tried to intervene. he even offered to pay for our meal. i declined. i do not feel comfortable eating somewhere that, l feel, refused to provide service to my kids.

they had some really delicious fries, sorry, chips, that were topped with cheesy goodness. when i couldn’t find them on this pub’s menu, i realized that i wasn’t in kansas anymore.

however, we found the young’s bbq crisps (house-made crisps loaded with english farmhouse cheddar, bacon, scallions and young’s d

working in nky, my coworkers and i often frequent the crestview hills area for dining - there's just a lot more over there than on buttermilk and it's really close. friday is typically pub-day where the part of the gang goes to the pub at crestview hills

used to be better....fish and chips is now a pound of batter and oil with a little fish inside...yuck. 2 of the beers we selected on the menu are no longer available and the one that was suggested turned out to be flat. service was so so....the place used to be better

great for parties. love the atmosphere...great for girls night! there's always a lot of people in there (sometimes hard to find a seat) but it is a bar. a ton of drinks to choose from and amazing fried pickles!

on a recent outing we decided to visit the pub at crestview hills, one in a small chain of british-themed restaurants managed by the tavern restaurant group, which also operates desha's, polo grille and nicholson's in addition to the pub at rookwood mews,

i drink, therefore i am. (rene descartes). my three favorite things about the pub:
1. the beer
2. very cute servers in miniskirts
3. the words to monty python's "philosopher's drinking song" are in the menu

a gem for the traveler. if you are at an airporthotel take the ten dollar cab ride. great sel of beers on tap and the right atmosphere to drink them in. food us upscale pub fare buy reasonably priced. be warned, it's a bar and this is kentucky. people smoke as they please. if that's not your idea of an old school pub this might not be the right place for you. friendly staff as well.

good, except for.... ... the smoking. as pub food goes, this place is a couple notches above the norm (crab-crusted halibut!). but every time we go we are suffocated by the cigarette smoke.

the beer selection? outstanding -- even the cask conditioned is served at cellar temperature. but we can't go back to eat until something is done about the fog.
