the pantry has a positive and golden vibe as you enter the restaurant. i ordered chili lime salt prawns for my dinner. i ditched the mashed potato and chose rice as an alternative. the prawns were really good, as well as the dip which enhances the taste of the prawns. i also ordered mango fruit shake for my drink.

definitely worth every peso on their scrumptious lunch buffet. dig in to their massive seafood selection from fresh salmon, crabs, clams and shrimp. unlimited wine on sundays and a wide variety of dessert to complete your day. hats off too to their servers too who were very polite with over the top service, as expected from dusit thani.

tried their lunch buffet here. it’s really good. you can get a discount if you book thru eatigo. dessert station doesn’t disappoint and ambience is really exemplary.

i came across the pantry while checking the eatigo app and found this to have discounts for lunch and dinner plus superb customer ratings. so, we went to try it for our anniversary :)

i love the relaxing setting and how it was spacious enough for guests. the service was great and their staffs are courteous and attentive. although they didn't have a wide array for your buffet selection, it is a must try specially for seafood lovers. they serve indian, italian, filipino and pan-asian cuisines. and oh, the desserts, although not much, i had to go for a 4th round.

as we went on a sunday, we took the lunch buffet with wines which was great!

the place is kid friendly but not much option/selection for them (in my opinion).

overall, loved it and will def be back!

had my birthday buffet lunch here with 45% discount via booking with eatigo. good customer service, as expected from hotel staff. i ate a lot lol, as i usually don’t shell out money for hotel buffets. went straight to the lechon - nothing special. it was fine texture-wise, i guess. crispy skin. the indian dishes were fine as well. the paella, i didn’t enjoy very much, but the tahong were succulently fresh and tasty. the pasta... i had aglio olio. i was expecting chili flakes and maybe shrimp or clams but there was none :( star of the show for me was the beef chops with gravy sauce. it saved the day! dessert was okay, ice cream with toppings. churros were hard. note i didnt try the cheeses, the desserts, the salads, the ramen bar, and i couldnt find the sushi/tempura. maybe they’re better.

we waited for 45mins for the menu.. the food were on the expensive side so we were hoping that it would be worth it if not exemplary... buuuut. while it isnt that bad, it was not special. and the pancit with lechon.. no presentation at all. it was like a left over lechon :( i didnt take any photos anymore

my first visit at dusit’s the pantry. giddy over their breakfast buffet. i love the ambiance! the set up is nice and accessible.

as we enter there were different kinds of pancakes, then the pasta bar. at another side is the organic/ healthy goodies. and as you go around you’ll be amazed over the lechon being cooked ( thats for their lunch buffet). there are filipino , chinese and japanese dishes among the choices.

i rarely have rice for buffet. their filipino dishes caught my attention. i had about 3 tablespoons of garlic rice and got the danggit, dried squid, bangua, and tapa! that’s a dream plate for breakfast. their muesli is also good, it has peaches and strawberries. and i also raved over the dimsum and miso soup.

verdict: nothing spectacular! but got myself the perfect breakfast plate! all in one plate. plus, their refillable coffee is so good, that i had 2 cups😝

price: quite pricey at p1,400.

ambiance: superb! clean and neat! plus a good set up.

dusit thani manila’s the pantry may not have an extensive buffet spread, but this restaurant is not one to be overlooked when dining in makati city. among all hotels in makati, dusit thani manila is probably one that i often overlook. perhaps it’s the location or maybe because i have not really heard much buzz about it. nevertheless, a visit to dusit thani manila’s signature restaurant, the pantry, was something i looked forward to.

great food selection for the price specially if you will be using credit card promos. quality food + good ambience. also includes juices and teas which is very rare in hotel buffets.

what do you look forward to most on sundays? for us, it is the glory of relaxed pacing of a sunday lunch. the best mid-day activity is to share a good meal spread with your loved ones. the pantry has nine global stations: the chinese bao bar, the indian tandoor oven, the brick oven pizza area, the salad station, the seafood station, the carving station, the dessert station, the beverage studio, and a takeaway counter called grab & go.

i give the pantry a for presentation and promo rates in partnership with bdo.
the pantry has good set of options for their lunch buffet. but for the carving station its now usually just pork. lechon, crispy pata and the likes.
makes me miss basix where i can request the chef to grill practically anything.
i like that they have a healthy section with all the fruits and vegetables and even added juices.
for dessert station, the churros are a bit tough to bite. nonetheless the presentation is really nice and you can see that it was thoughtfully prepared.

the food is great! esp the dessert section. i'm a super big fan of sweets and just seeing their whole dessert wall makes me so kilig! food is also so-so, with a wide variety of cuisines, like your typical hotel buffets. the place is kinda dark tho, but cozy. makes me feel quite a bit sleepy whenever i go here.
