temple bar
this was the first eatery which we tried in dublin. the name is very unique and we decided to have lunch here. loved the experience
food- we were 4 of us and we tried their homemade chicken pie( this took some time, but it was so well made, perfect chicken stuffing with celery, onion and herbs)
the sea food pasta tasted good too, the sea food has loads of clams, prawns and squids
the fish and chips was yummy too, the fish tasted pretty fresh; salmon
the dessert (sticky chocolate pudding was super gooey and sticky and yummy)
the chicken wings tasted good too
guinees was absolutely out of the world! loved it.
customer service- prompt
ambience- any regular irish pub. it was during christmas and thus the place was beautifully decorated.
value for money - moderate to expensive

temple bar
great selection of craft beer in the city's most touristy area. lots of good quality and well priced beer on tap (alongside the usual suspects). friendly vibe, always bustling, tellies for sport, live music in the evenings. caters for many people, from the beer nerd to the blow-in tourist and everything inbetween. solid spot.

i popped into the norseman for a quick pint before getting a bus recently. it was packed but i was impressed by their wide beer range and willingness to have people try different and more unusual styles. in the heart of the tourist district, the norseman is a welcome change to the diageo dominated bars.
