the mohawk is a cool music venue. they always have live music and it's alway crowded. there is almost always a cover, though, so be prepared and bring cash. it can get super packed on nights where there is a well-known band. they often have punk shows in the back stage that are more intimate (or as intimate as mosh pits can be) the beer is overpriced, but that's just how it is at music venues. they have good specials during the non-peak hours though.
