absolutely hopeless experience.
please do not go here.
thought it would be something like the asian curry house in mantri square, which is a wonderful place. this is part of the same chain of restaurants, but it comes nowhere close.
the london curry house is a joke of a place in terms of the ambience, the service and even some dishes.
we were greeted with a very annoyed waiter who just could not speak loudly and could not hear anything we said over the overly loud music that was being played. all he cared about was how much people were tipping him. there was a fly in the rotis that was served to us and i called him to show it to him and all he did was look at it fly away. then looked away and collected a tip in someone’s bill and looked back and said, “ what happened? there’s nothing there “
they gave us new rotis and then a honey bee fell into my plate. i called on the same waiter to help us out. he sent someone to clear my plate and no word from them either. i tried making eye contact with the waiter and he just would not make eye contact with me. he just avoided any sort of contact. they shifted us to another table and the problem persisted. couldn’t eat any more.
called the manager. he cleared the table and gave us the bill. the manager was kind enough to at least subtract the price of the food which had flys in them and yet didn’t remove the service tax. just goes to show the nerve of restaurants like this who provide service worse than a dhaba and expect you to pay them service tax. i didn’t want to argue. just paid and left. never going back here. please do not go here unless you’re looking to eat a few insects.

this has been on my bucket list for 2 years, due to covid and other reasons i couldn't visit this place. but it wasn't so great for my wait. the taste was good, not the best in the business. like when compared to many such delicious places in namma bengaluru, this doesn't stand out for their pricing and taste.

the 3 star rating was for ambience, slightly different presentation and for palak chaat we had. other than that the kulcha, dal fry everything was just good, not the best. anyways i was hoping a lot from this place for their popularity and crowd, which ended up being like any other regular restaurant in bengaluru. hope i have a genuine review which could help the management work on a few things and bring back its glory.

although the food was great, the service was beyond terrible. firstly, the staff communication is poor. second, the staff is arrogant and careless. a high volume (max decibel) metal rock song is not a kind of music you'd want to listen, when you want to have a peaceful dinner with your family. the choice of music was all the more stupid than it could ever have been. despite asking the staff to reduce the loud noise, it wasn't obliged. never recommend this place to anyone. the last time i ever experienced this kind of a terrible customer service, was when i called airtel. infact this was worse than airtel.

quite disappointed with the service and the food. the starters were good but the service is beyond terrible. they were not even interested in taking the order and had half knowledge of the menu. the main course was really bad. the drinks were nothing to praise about. not at all the service and taste you would expect at the price.

the ambience of the place was fine, but it was only after visiting this place i realized the taste of water was far better than the food here.
we ordered fries, they were soggy and tasteless, we ordered the old styles paneer tikka, that was bland, we ordered two beverages, they were not satisfactory, and worst of all was the pink sauce penne pasta, was over loaded with raw spices.
only good part about the food was its presentation.

we went around 4.30pm on a sunday. we were told that the only food available is chaat since the kitchen is closed. we pushed back a little, asking why same is not mentioned on zomato/google and the menu expanded from chaat to pizzas and pastas. we ordered a macaroni alfredo, a palak patta chaat, a fruit punch and a lime soda. the macaroni alfredo was similar in taste to maggi pasta and the fruit punch was nothing but strawberry syrup in lichee juice. i was willing to discount it all, had the service been good. when the lime soda was served, it was so fizzy that it kept spilling all over our table. extremely poor service. i’m not sure why this restaurant’s tagged under ‘best in bangalore’.

it's an spectacular place with old school vibes. the ambience is very chill and at the same time the food is a perfect blend of gastronomy as well as great taste. it's become one of those places you would rely on for good food.

one of the best vegetarian restaurants out there. with ample amount of seating, decent crowd, friendly staff, and more importantly qualitative food, this place is a must to all the people who loves exploring food.

they have variety of dishes which is presented in colorful way. a simple pani puri in a giant wheel is attractive. i had ordered in my favorite palak soup and it was amazing. the pasta and mexican rice tasted good too!

might find it difficult to find a parking spot on the weekends. there will also be crowd during weekends, if you hate waiting, better book the table in advance.

went to this place last weekend. reached at 12.30 so was able to get a good table. the place got really crowded in an hour. ordered baby corn starter and railway style kofta and pooris, along with mock tails. the food was really nice. just found the place to be a little crowded so had to reduce 1 point

london curry house is almost worth the hype.
all courses tasted great and i had this chilli based
mocktail that was beyond amazing. dishes i would
avoid ordering next time are the pani puris (overpriced) and the indian breads (tiny). another tip - the place is tiny so it can get really hot so try going there on a colder day if possible.
