i was really disappointed with my "grilled chicken" sandwich that was served with a few chips and cost $8. the chicken was that nasty pre-seasoned cheap processed meat. if i wanted cheap processed chicken, i could have gone to mcdonalds for a nugget meal that only cost $5. i could not eat the sandwich it was so bad. other than that, the place was very nice and clean and the staff was great!!! really wish the place had better quality food.

great place for breakfast or lunch!. very enjoyable place for breakfast or lunch. charming atmosphere, good food, good service and friendly staff. i highly recommend!

good food crippled by absolutely horrid service.

visited the coffee pub for the first time this weekend and absolutely fell in love with it. we just moved here from california and it fits lexington perfect!! the food was outstanding and a friendly wait staff. my family and i will make this a weekly habit!!

for people familiar with lexington, the best tip for directions is that it is located behind ramsey's on harrodsburg road

so good for bfast! the potatoes are a must.

nice saturday. i'm in the horse business and have been taking my clients here for years. food is always great, service is always great. i was in there a couple weeks ago, and who was sitting next to us?? bobby flay! he owns several horses at keeneland and said he goes there whenever he is in town. very cool.

more than just breakfast. i eat there often, since my office is up street, and the lunch menu is really good. the hot sandwiches are always high quality. breakfast is good too, definitely better than the "cracker barrel" type breakfast and lunch joints.

wonderful atmosphere, marginal food. there is an outside eating area that is very charming and fun. the lady who seemed to be in charge was nice, helpful and responsive. the lady who served us seemed rushed and somewhat indifferent. the food was marginal--the waffle that was served appeared to be from a box and the bacon reminded me of the stuff that is microwaved. i would go back just to enjoy my coffee (which was excellent) on the patio. the food is not the coffee pub's greatest draw. enormous potential that is not being exploited,

try a little harder, please. you really want to like this little place.... good location in a charming stone cottage, but the food needs some work and attention to detail. both my daughter and i ordered waffles with fruit, me strawberry and her peaches.

the food had sysco written all over it... the batter was reminiscent in smell and taste to the waffles you would make yourself at a holiday inn express. my strawberries had no flavor and my daughter's waffle was served with canned peaches on top. here are a couple of hints: making buttermilk waffle mix is not difficult and the results will certainly be better. buy frozen peaches (when fresh are not available) - thaw and toss with just a little bit of sugar to macerate the peaches.

what i see lacking in this restaurant are quality ingredients. buy local bacon for starters and not the thin fatty bacon that becomes even less enjoyable has it seats in a heater. your prices are too high to be charging for denny's quality food. source better food!

sorry to be harsh, but with a little thought to freshness and food quality you could present something much better.

quaint but boring. cute little place, but hard to find. thought food would be made from scratch, but it def was not. "pub potatoes" were out of a bag and grits out of a box. it was not horrible, but we will not be going back. staff was friendly.

try the works omelet. you'll be glad you did!

great spot. it can be a little crowded and noisy inside. the wait staff is always great, the food is excellent. i highly recommend the fresh orange juice! its a wonderful place to enjoy breakfast or brunch.

friendly staff. delicious food. we had breakfast on saturday. the only serve breakfast foods on weekends, but they have a lunch menu on weekdays.

best atmosphere by far. a great little place for an old world atmosphere and a tasty breakfast/ brunch. a little over priced but worth it for the fresh smoothies.
