a laid back bar and lounge, perfect for that typical evening when you have achieved success in the day and want to enjoy that in the evening!
so the leather bar, as the name suggests, has a lot of leather settees and couches. comfortable seating done with, you sit back and slouch into the couch. the lounge music is soothing. you close your eyes and then you want beer.
so the tall glass of draught beer arrives nice and chilled. the hotel d'maitre does a good job. trained and professional to the core.
i order a chilli fish, baby corn salt and pepper, and a veg platter with the beer. the friend orders a stupid redbull.
the chilli fish is lovely. just about good amount of chilli, spices and flavours, the fish is done to a perfect bit. lovely!
the baby corns are pretty bland but yeah, it's good too. probably my fetish for hot spicy food makes me find things bland if they are not up to my taste bud's spicy fetish!
the veg player had cauliflowers, potato cutlets and something i could not understand. but yeah it was ok too but i was eyeing the chilli fish big time.
the ambience is good. candle lit low floor tables with a dark lighting which i love. the bar is very well stocked. tuesday's they offer 50% off on greygoose. thursday's they have extended happy hours.
our purpose of coming here to the park was to visit pasha the disco but we weren't allowed being stags. which is then we sat on leather couches at the leather bar. overall good. quiet and nice.
