this was on of the best burgers in cape town. the burgers are juicy and delicious and of good quality. you can definitely get something for everyones taste due to a variety of additional toppings. definitely a must try.

i've had izzy burgers on 3 occasions now and each time i've thoroughly enjoyed it. patty is flavourful, salads and bun are fresh. as the business grows, we look forward to more interesting burger varieties.

visited the izzy burger for the 1st time on friday past.  place looks modern & clean and the service was excellent. tried the izzy long with avo and sweet potato fries and was really impressed. would definitely return and recommend to anyone.

the best burgers by far.you can taste the freshness and the portions are really great.the prices are also very reasonabl.

this one beats the butcher's wife to best "local" burger joint in terms of value and taste in my book.

fresh and packed with chargrilled beefy flavour. the burger was a little bit overdone on this occasion but this is not usually the case. the chips were crispy and perfectly seasoned.

the double with chips costs r80 while the single costs a very reasonable and value for money r60. next time i'm trying the izzylong. also keen to find out if woodie's will steal their top spot.

stopped by izzy’s burger on saturday, i’ve returned and i think this time the burger was grilled well, still a bit salty though. i had the double beef with avo and chips. friendly staff and the wait wasn’t that long. thank you

2nd time back (ottery rd) because the 1st experience was an awesome one. excellent quality burger... definitely great value for money. highly recommended!!

all i can say is, not a fan of the chips. something needs to be done about this.  the fisheries , takeaways chips are way better. other than that, thumbs up !!!!

really solid burger ,iv eaten here quite a few times and quality remains consistent.can get quite busy ,especially on weekends so i suggest calling in and ordering ahead.

first time trying izzy burgers - actually good!
fries were slightly cold but loved the seasoning.

quite speedy on walk in orders 👌🏻

loved the entire set up - so warm and cozy!

i tried izzy after it opened up in wynberg - can't find it on zomato so will post my review here. the burger itself is a nice size, my husband really enjoyed it - the smokiness of the patty, the flavouring and the sauce. i, however, didn't enjoy it as much. for me, the patty was a tad bit too salty and the sauce and overall taste reminded me a bit of steers? think it could be the mustard. i also did not like that i had to buy fries, and when we asked if we could buy without fries, the owner got weirdly defensive about not selling it without fries lol. i would recommend izzy to other people, but wouldn't go out of my way to buy this again.

burger was not too bad. it was tasty. however, i do feel that the burger is over priced for a single patty burger. also, they do not give customers a choice when it comes to fries. you have to purchase it with your burger even if you do not eat fries. if you want chilli on your burger it costs an extra r10. that is completely ridiculous.

it's haraam to taste so lekker. the burger was good, really good. i'm not talking of big, bold and messy flavours but rather what a good burger should be - simple, great buns, perfectly cooked ground beef and well proportioned condiments. full points on the above.

the fries definitely need some tlc, perhaps a bit more experimenting would improve this facet of the meal :)

would i return? f*%k yeah.

im not sure what all the hype was all about on social media so i decided to give it a try!
flavourless patty and not very nice at all.
i was kinda hoping for a similar taste to woodies or a flamed grilled tasting burger.
the only plus side is presentation and that the place was very clean.
