nice spot in howth, only ever been for breakfast though. looking forward to eating there for dinner now. the pancakes are so tasty though ! absolutely love them. fresh fruit is always key for tasty pancakes! would prefer to put my own syrup on them but thats the only flaw! my mam got really nice sausages, eggs and bread. very nice! the mocha was also extremely tasty too! staff are also very friendly! doesn't look like they have a big selection for breakfast but ask them and they do!

came to howth just for a one day visit. we “found” this restaurant while walking around. it’s quite nice and comfortable inside. the food is tasty, and the staff is quite nice. the prices are too high for the quality of what you eat.

had brunch here on a gorgeous sunny day. it was quite busy & we hadn't booked a table but we got one quite quickly. we sat in the outdoor area which was lovely.
i had the poached eggs with bacon and my sister had the chicken fettuccine. i found the food a little disappointing if i'm honest. mine was very cold when it came out and the pasta sauce didn't have much flavour. the cappuccino however was excellent.
i would give it another go as maybe it was just an off day but it didn't live up to they hype unfortunately.

we went here sunday last for dinner and it most certainly didn't disappoint. i had been here before for brunch after a nice hike in howth and it was simply delicious.
the house is a gorgeous small restaurant. the service is excellent and extremely attentive. it's a busy restaurant with a lovely ambience. there's live music at times and beautiful art work displayed on the walls.
we ordered from the a la carte menu. for a sharing starter, two mains, two desserts, two glasses of wine and two coffees the bill came to €82 which i thought was quite good considering the quality of everything.
the food was extremely fresh and everything was cooked to perfection and so tasty. we shared an antipasto plate for starter with chicken terrine, charcuterie meats, a goats cheese and risotto ball, pickled cucumber and cabbage, melba toasts and crab meat. it was delicious and perfect for sharing. for main then i had sea bass with a hollandaise and pomegranate sauce served with garlic baby potatoes . the fish was amazing and cooked perfectly. my friend had chicken with butternut squash purée, jus and a roast potato. once again, delicious. for dessert we had a chocolate, raspberry and walnut brownie and a white chocolate cheesecake with a plum compote.. they were so delicious. the wine and coffee were also fantastic.
i highly recommend the house. a perfect treat.

had brunch here on saturday with my friends, food is absolutely delicious so so tasty and they are known for their brunch. i got eggs florentine with the hollandaise sauce on the side it was very tasty. the restaurant itself is always packed and has a nice vibe as it displays artwork on their walls and has a jazz night once a week. have been here a load of times and i will continue to go back. they also do an unbelievable brownie but i didn't get a chance to take a photo of it! highly recommend the house for anyone, whatever age or occasion.

the food here is gorgeous! it was myself and my friends first visit to the house at the beginning of this year and we had a great experience! the waitress began by telling us the specials which were not on the menu so we were impressed she offered to explain them and my friend subsequently ordered a special. i ordered the braised beef ciabatta and fried onion rings meal which was amazing, highly recommend - and i will probably get the same when i go back it was that good! the food was great and the service was great, all round lovely meal! the cafe/restaurant is quite big so tables are usually available. there is a really cute area out the back of the restaurant which is gorgeous on sunny days!

i ordered the chicken club sandwich, which was really tasty and finished it off with sharing the chocolate warm brownie with tea! the food was really good but the service was slightly slow, but they were quite busy at the time! i'm definitely going back over the weekend to try their brunch as i've heard great things!

this place is my favourite restaurant in howth. we generally come for sunday brunch and it's a great mix of families ( like ourselves) and hungover twentysomethings ( like i wish i was). the food is delicious, the service quick and very friendly. there is a real buzz about the place. the veggie breakfast and pancakes are a big hit at our table. try the choc raspberry brownie for desert. you'll never want to leave. at dinner, the kids are all gone and it's lovely and warm inside. the dishes are always interesting and have good vegetarian options. really recommend it here, you won't be sorry.

this place has such a warm feel to it, i always feel like i'm being well looked after. food is amazing, really well presented and just enough. i always go for the soup of the day if i’m going for lunch or the goats cheese salad but i have to say the best thing from house is the brownie, they're filled with berries and chocolate and i honestly haven't found one to match it, practically lived on these through the leaving cert (you can get them to-go).

best time to try out the house is the brunch at the weekend or on tuesday's they have byob. be warned you wont be able to get any signal here, but thats pretty much the same for all of howth.
