the shelbourne
the horseshoe bar makes one of my favourite cocktails in the world. it is the 'finnish first' and it has everything you want and more including cranberry vodka, st. germaine elderflower, moet and cucumber. it is delicious. gosh, reminiscing about this has made me question my 'dry january' life choices. no. must. not. give. in.

the shelbourne
the shelbourne is a popular spot on the weekend for drinks! tends to be pricey enough so would recommend only staying for one or two! have been to a few of their bars and all are nice and an upmarket vibe! their cocktails are to die for!! always great service but sometimes tricky to get a seat if you're there before dinner. would recommend for a fancy drink though!

really nice spot for an after work or after dinner cocktail. can be difficult to get a table here but if you do it's lovely and cosy. it is expensive but it is the shelbourne hotel after all. my favourite cocktail is the "love potion" :)

a longstanding great spot for cocktails. the recession never made it here - €19 for a kir royale!!! as nice as it was i don't think they can really justify the price tag. the only thing is this is a firm favourite & i love to come back occasionally :)
