worst experience☹️

today i visited the place after the recommendation by my foodie friend
but it was very disappointing

over priced menu
small portions
taste was below average
found small ants in chilly flakes🤮

i suggest the owner to visit ‘ovenfresh’once
see their portion size, price and taste
no match at all

sorry for this bad review
but iam really disappointed
had a bad evening 😑

to the most recent visit to our one of the most beautiful and favourite cafes in the tricity we stelled in for the idea of a nice english breakfast to dig in. for our surprise i was empty as we walked in before opening 😂.
but as we know hedgehog never dissapoints. they welcomed us and asked to wait for jus 10 mins during which we can decide the order. we clicked some pictures and decided to had the following:

- peter pancake
- light club sandwich (served with peppercorn mayonnaise)
- iced frappe
- hot cafe mocha

about the food:

• peter pancakes - nice and fluffy freshly made pancakes served with slices of apple and bananas with maple syrup to accompany with is a win win breakfast. being a pancake lover, i always look after for nice and soft pancakes as a perfect breakfast option to be have with a cup of americano or cafe mocha( depending upon mood)

• light club sandwich - double layered sandwiches layered with fresh mayonnaise and sauteed veggies in salt and peppercorn topped with fresh cherry tomatoes made it a perfect savory snack to munch in for a perfect breakfast.

• iced frappe - all time favourite and the perfect idea to kick start your lazy sunday is to have a chilled iced frappe

• hot cafe mocha - being a hot coffee person i always go for either americano or cafe mocha or hot chocolate. the mochawas fine-ish. not up to the expectations.

popeye's ravioli was excellent.a good experience. the concept of books and food and to you can ceep book the books until you finish reading it. personally visited the place and staff service is very excellent

this place is amazing for book lovers ! this place has great ambiance ... the atmosphere is so calm all around ... this place is very attractive thou nd they have worked on every corner
nd staff is also very cortgeous and friendly
now talking bout food soo the food is not that amazing ! the quantity was also lesss ...
so the food nd the ambiance literally doesn't match at all ..
this place is somewhat costly !

so with my personal experience i won't prefer u to goo here !

place with very good staff but food is big no as per experience, i ordered cheese cake which tasted stale.

awesome place for a calm environment, lots of books to read, lots of amazing arts (some are up for sale too).

the ambience is great for book lovers and peace lovers. but the hygiene levels in the food were quite low. so was the food quality. they did compensate us for the bad quality but it's not supposed to be that in the first place.

love this place.

fluffy pancakes, don corn, lasagna and pasta are highly recommended.

add on to the amazing food, hedgehog is a perfect cafè for work or close brunch dates. a book library welcomes you as you step in and you could easily spend a great time here even by yourself. the menu is a little over-priced but they do not compromise on quality and you can always use zomato gold which works here.

good ambience with good food. it is one of the most decent places for casual dining in chandigarh...

a book and a cup of coffee: the two of the most comforting things.. offered by the hedgehog cafe with nice interior and comfortable place to hang around. 😍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 great experience. will consider coming back and will recommend! must visit.
