best in town?. i went to this restaurant on 7/23/14 based on a friends recommendation, and it was disappointing. there was a group of 8 of us and the service was horrible. my wife wanted a vodka cranberry, but they don't have cranberry, so they brought out something that tasted like vodka lemonade. i wanted to order a regular beer, like a bud, bud light, coors, etc. before we ordered wine. sorry they don't carry anything like that, just micro beers (and no, they don't have boulevard, or lucky bucket, check it, you won't know any of them) it took about 15-20 minutes for them to bring the drinks. the restaurant was about 50% full. our waiter said they were short handed, because someone quit. we then prepared to order wine, but they don't have any known california cabs (we usually drink silver oak, stag's leap, inglenook, cakebread, seghesio, dunn, etc.) but no again, no ordinary wines, so we just settled on cocktails. the apps were good, not great, and so was the meal, but the service itself took over two and half hours, so it seemed like we were there for an eternity. there was a weird noise coming out of the air conditioner even time it cycled on as well. i would recommend many other nice restaurants, as i go out to eat 2-3 days a week, but i wouldn't recommend this place.
