the goat

good food,slow,slow,slow service, not very organized. stopped by for dinner as we had heard about the goat. found a seat, and 15 minutes passed and server stopped by to get drink order, 10 minutes later out draft beer and ice tea arrived. asked for menus? oh you s she says. 10 min. later we get menu. she comes back to take our order eventually. ordered burger and pizza. took 45 minutes to get food. server did stop by to refill drinks and said something like" sorry your food is taking so long. they have like 20 orders back there and they are losing it" when food arrived it was very good. the goat burger was excellent and the pizza was huge and delicious. finished dinner got box for take home left over pizza asked for check. 20 min. later got check. 25 min. later came back to collect. tables around us also waiting and waiting for service and food. atmosphere very lively and fun. great outdoor space with volleyball corn hole, beautiful patio and pool. menu is also good. just need to get act together for service.

i love the goat! great food and great atmosphere, an adult bar. unfortunately, they have a bad habit of booking the whole place out to groups, and there is no place to sit. tonight, over half the place is private parties, so people are walking back out the door. need to rethink their strategy.

i agree with the only review posted so far. food is good if you can get service. the service is consistently poor. understaffed and undertrained.

i like this place and have been there several times. the food is consistently good. nearly every time the service is poor. long waits to order, unbussed tables, no attention after food is served, etc.

great food, great beer selection, awful servers. the title pretty much sums it up. great atmosphere, awesome food and drink, but the servers need to pay more attention to the clientele and smile!!! very little attention given to the people who keep the place open. the customer! oh and one more thing...if the workers are going to smoke, don't smoke right off the bar area where it blows right back into the whole restaurant when the doors and windows are open. seriously? someone has to say this in an online review?
