food is not bad, quite nice for mexican food that is far away from mexico. however the waiting staff needs to step up their game. when it gets busy staff are unfriendly and not helpful. this happened the last few times i went there. an important part of training waiting staff is how to remain calm, friendly and accessible under pressure.

me and my partner decided to go to the flying burrito brothers tonight and use our 2 for 1 voucher from the entertainment book. for a monday night it was quite busy but we were seated straight away. once we had ordered we were surprised at how quickly our meals came to us (about 5 mins!) we would've appreciated a little more time between ordering and being served, not sure if this is always the case?
the food was really tasty though! i had the chicken flying burrito which i highly recommend and my partner had the quesadilla which was also really tasty. would actually rate it a 3.5/5
nice food, great atmosphere, super fast service!

i have been here in small groups before and everything was fine. however i went here last night in a group of 10. the table was booked for 8pm, and we didn't get on the table till 8.30pm, ordered and then we waited over an hour for our food. our food was good, and the restaurant was busy, but i still think it is unacceptable to wait for that long.

i really enjoy dining at this restaurant and always pick it as one of my favourites. if you are in the mood for tasty food and atmosphere then this is the place.

things that need improvement are:
- long waits for a table
- no option of reserving a table even by credit card
- cramped dining experience

the meals are also on the more expensive side but the dishes are large and delicious.

recommend the chilli cheese dip and corn chips, fried chicken and soft shell tacos. you won’t be disappointed. used to do a really good ceaser salad now off the menu. however, i would suggest going elsewhere for dessert.

flying burrito brothers is always good, fun friendly atmosphere!
food is always very good, drinks are even better!
service is generally good, however they do get very busy so if you want something quite this is not for you!

had the tacos here and they were delicious! the restaurant was pretty full for the night but the service was great and friendly. food came in a reasonable amount of time. only problem was that the tables were so close to one another. i could barely get into my seat and the chairs were basically back to back with no space.

best mexican in wellington!!!! frozen margaritas are delicious and so is the food. the salad is only $5 and it's truly the best salad ever! would recommend getting it as a side every time. the squid is nice for a lighter meal.

i dine here frequently and every time have a lovely meal. great food and friendly staff. food is always tasty and always plenty of it! kids menu is fab. dining at flying burrito brothers is never expensive - very good value for money. i have recommended this place to many people who are also now regular patrons!

a group of us walked off the street on a saturday night and we were seated within 5 mins. fabulous! this was the first time i had been here. (shocking since i've lived in wellington all my life). it was a bit cramped for me downstairs but then again i'm claustrophobic so it isn't their problem. i totally loved my meal its just a pity i have no idea what i ate, it was devine though so we will definitely be going back. yum.

margaritas were nice too. i had 3 all to myself (lush)

delicious food, big portions and cool decor. we had the beef flying burrito and chicken fajitas with a pitcher of margarita and a pitcher of red sangria.

was disappointed with the service as soon as we arrived the maitre de asked us how many were dining we mentioned we had a group of 10 coming in and we would prefer to wait for them, rather then assisting us to a table or anywhere for that matter he just stood there pretending to work. we had to ask him to show us to a table of ten and before doing this he was not shy to mention that we are not allowed to order without the rest of our group arriving. which is what we intended to do in the first place. the food service was average and they were very good with our orders for beverages. first impressions last and we would not be dining there again or recommending this restraunt to anyone.

we have been here a few times now and haven't been disappointed. it gets very busy sometimes, a good indication of s good restaurant, but worth the wait. i like it.

food reminded me of my flatting days! no love whatsoever goes onto any plate! i ordered tacos with chicken - the chicken just had a plain batter and was fried, no mexican flavours at all.
