we loved it! the oysters were awesome everything came out hot and fast and they were in the middle of a lunch rush! can't wait to come back!

love this family own, family run restaurant. from top to bottom, soup to nuts, everything about this place reminds me of what it's like to be a living part of this community. from the father & son business built from the ground up, to the authentic and unique recipe for the batter of each type of fish. i love this place with all my heart. these folks are genuine, they're friendly, they're down to earth, they remember your name and face if you come often enough. the food is unpretentious and down home. you must try the clam chowder, it's delicious. my usual is to order just a pound of each fish, and bring a friend.

my only wish is the city for less pretentious and picky people, go find trouble elsewhere please! ...and let me have my fish!

never ok to be racially insensitive. never should refer to a paying customer as the "black guy" i love the beignets but you will never get another dime of my money.

racism is alive here!. there is a need for proper training of the employees. find a better way to identify what belongs to whom on your tickets, find a better way, ask for a name.

really amazing; we went on a whim without any idea of what to expect and it was beyond delicious. we'll be back whenever we return to the area.

very good place to eat. got the early and was worried there was no one there. by the time we left it was full. great chowder.

fish box for two. we ordered the fish box for two....2 pieces of scrod and 1 piece of catfish. the fish look like it was fried in old oil. the onion rings were uncooked...not crispy. the cole slaw had too much dill. i have been frying fish for over 30 years and presentation is so important. fyi... ease up on the dill.

we asked a lot of questions at the fish house like “do you bread the onion rings in house?” “are the fries fresh cut”, and “what’s the difference between scrod and haddock?” the gentleman at the counter (who i’m betting was the owner) was super friendly. he answered all our questions and gave us additional information without rushing us.

i don't review restaurants ever. i only do it when i really love a place. i love the fish house. it's got a great feel to the place. very haphazard and thrown together, (almost like a boat dock). that's exactly the type of character you want to see in a fish joint. great patio out front. as for the fish, the scrod and haddock are great. they serve very large pieces too. no skimping. other items worth mentioning: the jalapeño tartar sauce, the mac and cheese and the high puppies are all wonderful. also, having tried the beignets in nola, i can say, cafe beignets are just a good. i eat here almost once a week... i'm actually eating here as i type this! check it out!

chuck pinyerd. we were there tonight found it by accident on internet but had a great meal and had a great time. we will return and put it on our best like list. as far as for us and our 14 year old grandson it is tops. all stars i can give it.

yummmmmm. wonderful place. it attracts friendly people too. the fish sandwiches are very good and the beignets are are terrific on the weekends. great place!

their fried haddock and cod are consistently good and their jalapeño tartar sauce is outstanding. my fried fish go to place!
