a south indian affair (well,
the culinary sorts).
the concept of dining out for dad starts and ends at gokul .thanks to sukhada's post i convinced him to take a trip to radison for the 'south indian' fest.
something offbeat and fun, from the regular in city. surely worth a family trip to hog on the buffet!
- you can spot the chef playing tabla at the kuttu parotha counter ( street food from south the star dish for sure cooked live - you can choose chicken or egg only)
- try piping hot appam with range of colourful chutneys
- grab dosa from live counter
- enjoy kerala fried fish, aviyal with fresh malabar parotha
- enjoy sabudana kheer, mysore pak and coconut mithai
- have hot and strong filter kapeee and coconut juice
apart from the unusual the usual stuff is also there on buffet. my tip, go for south indian delicacies, you would find it fresher and more creative.
they have aptly named it 'south indian' as it is a mix of delicacies from south not limited to one state or region. safe yet honest attempt at menu.
i wish they served food on banana life, had live performance and went more on the ethnic side.
excellent opportunity for parents to introduce kids to new dishes and culture. well it was a buffet can't open it all down :) go explore - and yes you are wedakum!
