located in a small suburban shopping village in quakers hill, is the corner shop cafe. a quaint hipster/ content creator hideaway.
the service is beyond attentive, the ambiance is welcoming and clement. the menu is simple but caters to all pallets.

if the word "aesthetic" could be used in quakers hill, it would probably have been said inside this cafe. eating here makes you feel like you've landed near balmain with its sleek mint-green interiors that remind you of a typo-loving millennial enjoying the ocean. daaaaamn that french toast though!! a supremely thicc brioche loaf layered with vanilla ice cream and flowers, so many flowers. i kid you not, everything in this menu has flowers sprinkled on it, the ricotta toast, the french toast and even the freaking burgers. it's like an excited flower girl throwing petals onto your breakfast plate. the coffee is also great here, and "aesthetically" designed. go here if you want to impress your western sydney friends on instagram.

this is a nice little cafe nestled in quakers hill. it’s a decent local find as there isn’t much in the area at all and it serves great coffee. service is good and food is decent as well. i got the smashed avo and it was very standard and had nothing that separates it from other smashed avos from your local shopping center cafes but it was satisfying enough. the interior is lovely and as there isn’t much in the area, this is definitely a welcomed cafe.

the corner shop cafe brings the sydney brunch experience to quakers hills. with good coffee, great selection of food and a chic interior, you’ll think you were in surry hills!. tanmay and i were told about this place when we were trying to figure out where we should brunch before my flight to amsterdam. given that we live out west, we didn’t want to travel too far for brunch but still wanted a good meal and coffee! the corner shop cafe came to the rescue and it’s quickly become one of our favourite local spots.

it's nice to have a cafe in this little shopping complex. tried the pulled pork burger, the meat texture was inconsistent, some was soft while other parts were harder
my friend enjoyed there steak sandwich
i like the modern look and the openness of the place
might be back for more

i was surprised with the flavour of the food and the friendly and helpful service. my breakfast was a little expensive for the size of the serve. the food was fresh and tasty. i was offered a top up of hit water in my teapot, it just hit the spot. my son was impressed with his burger again very fresh and yummy ingredients. a pleasing experience that we will certainly go back for,

visited this cafe for the first time today. i had quite a problem finding it since the big sign on their side wall still showing the name from (maybe) previous cafe. the ambience is cool and elegant with white dominant colour. they have inside and outside seatings.
i decided to order their french toast 'coz i wanted something fresh and brunch-y. very beautiful plating and the dish tasted fresh and delicious.

i really love this cafe as this is very convenient and close to our place, neat and clean and french in style. our coffee was brewed perfectly and was extra hot and strong exactly how i want my caffeine to be. we sat outside and did ordered sourdough toast with avocado, cherry tomatoes, and ricotta cheese as a side and which was suggested by one of the staff and proved delicious and filling with peeper at the top.

though sitting outside was little bit uncomfortable as it was really hot and we were literally sweating but the quality of food and the smile of staff was good enough to visit this place again.

having been here on multiple occasions and living only a short walk away, the corner shop is a very, very welcome addition to quakers hill! loved the food and coffee that i've tried so far - pleasing to both the eye and the stomach. love that the staff are young, energetic and very friendly, too.

don't have much negative to say except that the indoor seating does echo a bit with the wooden floors and relatively empty open space. it would be awesome if that could be fixed - really wouldn't mind reading or studying here somedays. slightly longer trading hours in the afternoon, in time for an afternoon tea/coffee, would be pretty great too!

being such a new cafe, this place is awesome. keen to see where it heads!

great coffee and green juice. the food was slightly salty on both meals. something can be improved would be to provide salt and pepper for customers, other then that everything was great!

in short: the corner shop cafe brings a little bit of city chic cafe experience to quakers hill. excellent coffee and a contemporary menu. my tip; try the truffle mushrooms on toast. long suffering quakers hill coffee lovers, it’s over!

the wait is finally over as the corner shop cafe has come to our collective rescue, with great coffee and quality cafe food experience that would match anything you would find in sydney city. the corner shop cafe is located in the farnham road shopping centre. it’s a modern looking, hamptons-style cafe; actually, it’s the best looking fit-out for miles! the design is by a lover of tiffany blue for sure, with the walls painted in the infamous light, pastel blue colour. the ceilings are white-washed, and the dining area is filled with little details containing that distinctive hue of blue, including the dust pan! a white counter with a marble bench, and three distinctive, heavy set silver lamps are the most striking features of the cafe. along with being bright, it’s spacious, and can comfortably seat 30 inside, and 5 couples can dine outside.

new to the area and judging by the numbers, warmly welcomed by locals. nice enough decor-although perhaps a little sparse. tables outside also which are a good option was with all the hard surfaces it was quite noisy inside. service was welcoming but came up a little short in follow up after the initial order arrived. food was great. fresh tasty and well presented. coffee i found a little lacking in flavour but that was more blend than technique. no 'treats' cabinet or menu items at this stage but i expect that will come. overall, a welcome addition.
