i love the food there! it is delicious. and the two guys that opened the store are amazing!

we love the food & service here. i get the ruben once a year (only because it's so fattening lol). you can actually see the sauerkraut on this sandwich! big enough to share ! my husband loves their potato soup! big bowl! we have also gotten their wraps & the tx penthouse sand. both are vg ! yummy!

just dirty. decided to try this place sat down at the bar the server was prompt and friendly prices were more than any of the online menus prices i seen anyway order the pepper bacon burger figured you can't screw that up and if that was good then probably everything else would be ok got the side salad noticed the bowl the salad in was kinda grey a dingy i was able to rub the scum off the salad bowl to reveal to my surprise a bright white bowl underneath this is common in restaurants with low standards and procedures . the dishes aren't being washed properly . i had the manager watch as i was able to rub dirt off my bowl he acted like it was a magic trick or something now if your manager can't see or refuses to see the grey scum on the dishes what else is he not doing properly with your food. oh yah and yes the yoga pants were being worn by all the female staff young and old and it was sad. manager apologies and i left i didn't even get to try the burger thank god.

excellent sandwiches. second visit and i had the pulled pork sandwich and my wife had a "huge" grilled chicken sandwich. the pulled pork was excellent, and the sauce had a kind of red wine taste, original & excellent. the sandwich was huge and comes with a side. try the onion rings...huge and cooked to perfection. prices very reasonable.

disappointed. had been a bit since we had been to here so decided to head over for a quick bite and beer. unfortunately, the previous experience still held true. seasoning was mostly non existent, at least with the "god of cod" i ordered. the fish itself was done, but the breading was not gbd, bordering on burnt. and it was 3/4 the size of the hoagie roll that encased it. the american cheese slices were barely melted where they met the extra crispy cod enclosure while their orange/yellow edges venturing beyond the confines of the bread were pretty much petrified. as was i. opened the breading, ate the fish, bout it. had the sweet potato fries with the cod. the sugar/spice seasoning on the fries was ok, but was plopped not sprinkled and congregated in clumps instead of evenly distributed. and had an aftertaste that seemed like old oil in use.

the server was very nice, but never asked how things were, even when she picked up my plate that was still piled with fry remains, hoagie and petrified cheese. she was able to answer a question i had about one of the beers on tap, which was spot on.

the place was packed, not bad for thursday at 7:00 pm. so business seems good. perhaps we're missing something but we won't miss the corner pub and grill for awhile.

gluten free friendly

barely a thumbs up after two visits with multiple people each time, but will give them one more try eventually. kitchen needs to pay much more attention to detail.

always crowded, no idea why. overpriced and no big deal

we tend to go here often (at least a few times per month) as it is on the direct path home from work. it's still always crowded, but the food is definitely going downhill. you know how sometimes you crave a good burger? you can't get that here anymore. they are always overlooked. charred to the point of crunchy, no matter how you order them. i am a medium to medium well person, have gone down to medium rare here. still burned. so switch to sliders? crunch sandwiches. will have to take this one off our list. and i suggest not peppering your fries. just slightly weird.

fun and yummy. a lot of items i like on their menu. i worked at an irish pub for years and enjoy corner pubs ruben much more! wings and pickle appetizers are great as well! service is mostly good, sometimes you can tell the servers are a bit weeded but they do great for the most part. management is very nice to customers and was very accommodating with a mistake. overall i really enjoy the food and atmosphere.

service was great but food not so good. i had their signature peppercorn burger. the meat and sauce was bland. i also tasted the signature texas penthouse sandwich. the beef was stringy, dry, and tough and there was hardly any condiment. i won't get these items.

food review. go there often , food is very good and waitresses are very hot

fantastic pizza. we've stopped in corner pub a couple of times, but always had a burger & beer. they're awesome. tonight the kids tried pizza and it was delicious. crust is very reminiscent of shakespeare's pizza in columbia. yum. and i had the bayou birdie wrap, which was very, very good. great job guys!
