wowser. ate at the clevelander a few times and the food was awesome and reasonably priced. it's a hotel dining spot across the street from the beach so there is lots of pedestrian traffic. i'm told lt (nyg-56) stays and eats there alot along with loads of nba stars. i highly recommend the clevelander for drinks and lunch/dinner, but stay at the essex house next door on collins ave.

este lugar tiene mucha onda, es imposible que pase desapercibido cuando das un paseo por ocean drive, la música de inmediato llama tu atención, además de ser un lugar muy visitado, todos quieren estar allí. un buen sitio para tomar un trago con los amigos, o porque no conocer otros nuevos, en miami es así!

one of the hot spot for singles on ocean drive 😉 that's the only thing i like about this place. but , cocktails are not good enough for me. music is too loud. also don't open a check there, you might end up over charge or double charge on your credit card.

just flew into miami and was starving after dropping off luggage so i stumbled onto this place.

i ended up sitting at the bar and the bartender was very attentive. i had a few frozen drinks that were mixed well and strong, which they should be for miami prices. i ordered the maki-mahi burger and although it didn't have anything special on the burger the grilled fish really stood out and did not need any special sauce. the fries were not very good.

my only complaint was the bartenders lack of concern for the waitresses making drinks correctly. i saw a waitress come behind the bar and pour regular table salt into the margarita rimming container, instead of margarita salt. the bartender corrected her but never cleaned out the container or put the correct salt in it. so i watched several waitresses dip their cups into the same table salt before pouring a margarita, and the bartender saw this too and did nothing. it was also a weekday lunch time so it isn't like they were so busy that this couldn't have been fixed.

came here for a night out with a few friends. the food was pretty average, i had a pizza with some creamy shrimp sauce. the base was very dense and the topping was too runny, making the pizza very soggy.

one cool thing is the huge beer dispenser they bring to the table.

it was extremely noisy, but what else can you expect from al fresco dining in south beach.

bring cash!!! the waitress triple charged me for the pizza and double charged my friends for a few other things, which we only found out when checking the bank notifications the next day. lots of time spent at the bank to get these charges reversed, you're better off paying cash and having peace of mind.

4 stars if you want to go clubbing at their main space that has a cover. 3 if you want to go clubbing on the rooftop and 3 for the food. one of the most popular spots in sobe

we went there for pre valentine dinner & had worst experience of life ... waiter didn't seem like he wanted to work ... service was disaster... one dish was bought 3 times on the table and was unfortunately wrong all three times .... other than place being loud there was nothing else .... don't waste ur time to go there .... go somewhere else

i love the frozen drinks here! the pina colada is amazing. bar service is efficient. good music and a lively crowd make this place a nice place for a party in the evenings.

this place is on a strip of restaurants over the road from the beach. it has a good atmosphere, staff were nice and the food was good. i had the sizzling steak salad which was great. no real qualms other than the footpath (where i was seated) was quite narrow and the traffic is quite high. you get a huge variety of foot traffic here but it makes it good for people watching. a good casual place to eat if you're in the area.

one of the funniest places in south beach, great ambience, good music and drinks.the food menu is not anything special.i totally recommend this place for a drink and have fun!

racist!!!!!!!!. white girls were acting trashy all night but my black friend and i got harassed and even went as far as telling the police to tell us not to come back when all we did was sit at the bar and chatted with each other. note well we never approached any men nor entertained anyone. i still can't believed what happened....

over-priced. we were excited to get to the clevelander and ready to dance. we were greeted by secuirty who were friendly. we checked out the dance floor which seeemed a little small. we then hit up the bar, first the bartender couldnt give us a price for a drink we wanted to order,ranged from 47 to 35 which was pretty basic beer tower. we were then greeted by a server at the table, he brought us drink menus but seemed drinks were very overpriced and tasted like juice, if the taste matched the price it would have been a great night out.
music was very outdated and towards the middle of the night was a repeat of all the same songs.
i would return but would not buy any drinks there.

where do you go?. when we are staying in sobe, at least one visit @ clevelander has to be.
so we passed by 2 times (12-26 + 12-27-2013)

the servers are friendly and attentive. the coconunt shrimps are still a must eat. unfortunately the miniburgers have been cancelled from the menu :( .

i don't remember, if they already offered those monster drinks the years before, but this time we noticed this offer and there were a lot of guests who ordered them. this is not realy the kind of drinks or amusement we like. it reminds us of the party miles in ibiza or mallorca, where it's the first goal to get drunk asap. i personaly perfer a normal sized beer or a normal sized long drink (whichever doesn't mean i would only drink one of them, but it's more discreet). but maybe we have joined only the wrong daytime.

great food, happy hour, and the portions are big enough to share. best lunches on the strip.

went there for happy hour. we had great wings and the drinks are cheap. music was also excellent! we'll be back again.
