the chocolate room

maybe it's the expectations of the place that have made me give it a 3 star but they sure aren't what they claim to offer for the price.

the food isn't bad but it sure isn'tgreatfor the price. when you pay 150 for just a chocolate sandwich, you expect it to be better but i've had better in just rs 50 right here in aurangabad. the brownie was quite delicious but still didnt justify the price. i hope the ambience significantly offers more because on delivery, i don't think it's very worth the price as there better options available. i really love the packaging though. something that holds up. appearance does matter after all.

first of all the ambience! thought it looks too catchy bt it's full of mosquitoes and flies.... well i tried garlic bread and it was no different... panino was okay okay! nothing different taste. finally we tried the sizzling brownie which was not much impressive. i felt it wa too less for the amount paid. also i felt tht brownie was burnt a bit... and the ice-cream was too much for the size of the brownie! overall overly priced with normal tasting food! nothinggreatto rave about this place!

this is first time in chocolate room when tried order dutch truffle and coffe crumbs, but didn’t find thatgreattaste-wise. manjalpur joint really needs improvement.

aurangabad is finally modernising with many new and up-to-date restaurants and cafes opening in the city. the chocolate room is one such famous franchise to step foot in the city.

located on the ground floor of the newly opened one hotel on jalna road, the cafe is not difficult to miss. it has agreatwelcoming ambience to it and has funky interiors which you see at all their franchises. the menu is vast with many pastas, pizzas, sandwiches and a variety of desserts ranging from waffles, pancakes, sundaes, milkshakes and even fondues. we ordered the waffle freakshake, strawberry pancakes and the sizzling brownie. all three of the dishes were pleasing to look at and the colours were eye catching. they all tasted quite well and splashed a sweet flavour on our taste buds.

tcr is growing all around and the cafe is pocket friendly as well. the staff was courteous but the service was a tad bit on the slower side. but nonetheless, it wasgreatto see such famous cafes opening in aurangabad. will definitely visit again soon. cheers :)
