the chocolate room

this is first time inchocolateroom when tried order dutch truffle and coffe crumbs, but didn’t find that great taste-wise. manjalpur joint really needs improvement.

the menu without any hang ups is super exciting. though the place is a pure bliss forchocolatelovers it has a lot to offer other than that.
the display has exciting and pretty looking cakes/chocolate goodies and sculptures. (never tried, but hoping to try them someday).
the massive sunday, shakes, shots, freak shakes and waffles are my favourite, though they are not super authentic but appropriate justice suiting the city flavour has been successively achieved. this place truly is going to be the hip one in the city and could cater to the crowd for a good long time.

we had come here for desserts. based on the waiter's recommendation, we ordered nutella waffle and achocolatepancake.
the dishes were so damn sweet!!! i can't believe they actually decorated the pancakes with lots of powdered sugar(who does that?), why would you decorate a dish with something that totally changes the taste?! both these dishes basically tasted like a pile of maida with lots of sugar.

their coffee frappes are the perfect blend of sweet and bitter. they taste very fresh. i visited thechocolateroom many times while i was in india recently. i tried their alfredo pasta, pesto sandwich, and tandoori paneer sandwich. the pesto sandwhich had a minty yet earthy taste! the tandoori paneer sandwich was tangy, spicy, and very appetizing. the alfredo pasta was mild with a nice smoky flavor. i liked the twist of the smoky flavor! go to thechocolateroom if you like trying new things! you won't regret it.

aurangabad is finally modernising with many new and up-to-date restaurants and cafes opening in the city. thechocolateroom is one such famous franchise to step foot in the city.

located on the ground floor of the newly opened one hotel on jalna road, the cafe is not difficult to miss. it has a great welcoming ambience to it and has funky interiors which you see at all their franchises. the menu is vast with many pastas, pizzas, sandwiches and a variety of desserts ranging from waffles, pancakes, sundaes, milkshakes and even fondues. we ordered the waffle freakshake, strawberry pancakes and the sizzling brownie. all three of the dishes were pleasing to look at and the colours were eye catching. they all tasted quite well and splashed a sweet flavour on our taste buds.

tcr is growing all around and the cafe is pocket friendly as well. the staff was courteous but the service was a tad bit on the slower side. but nonetheless, it was great to see such famous cafes opening in aurangabad. will definitely visit again soon. cheers :)

ambience and interiors were beautiful. service was slow even though place was almost empty. presentation of the food was below par. we enjoyed the taste of the cheese steak burger and death bychocolatepancakes but presentation of the dishes needs much improvement. the ice cream on top of the pancakes had mostly melted andchocolatesauce had spread all over the plate by the time it reached our table. garlic cheese toast was completely cold. please improve your service because your menu looks delightful and the interiors are very beautiful.

ice place to hangout, a bit high on pricing.

ambiance is good, i'd rather have quite time than loud music though. mouthchocolatedesserts. don't forget to give a try for choco lava lava.

the choco bomb is must have.. never seen anything like that in aurangabad yet. also had thechocolatewaffle, mind blowing. must visit with friends...

it's the ultimate destination for thechocolatelover in you . . bit expensive but worth the money paid. need to work a bit more on hospitality i guess.

looking for a place for some hot beverage or a dessert, then tcr is the right place for you. i loved the browine served here, very soft and moist served with generous amount ofchocolatesyrup. just loved it!

generally i visit this place after dinner to have some hot beverage or a dessert. this outlet is not as big as other outlets but is still spacious. no complaints with the service. this time i ordered a brownie and cherry liquor hot chocolate. brownie was soft and moist, which was served with generous amount ofchocolatesyrup. just loved it!
i also learnt a lesson yesterday: cherry flavour for a hotchocolateis a big no. i personally didn't like it. it is better to stick with my tried,tasted and tested mint or darkchocolateflavour.

decant looking place as just opp to where i was staying - thought of trying a couple of pastries and ended up having savoury and some coffee.
i guess they baroda has about 3/4 outlets of thechocolateroom 
spacious and not very crowded - maybe it was afternoon , anyway's - lots to choose from -
saw something which looked good on the next table and ordered the same .
cheese tomato chilly sandwich which was good.
the salsa wrap was a let down but was happy to go back to the hotel sipping by country lemonade which was made perfect.

will i visit this place is a big question but wishingchocolateroom the best of success.
i have rated this 2.5 cause i was told they did not have espresso which is a must in a coffee shop , hence my doubts if i would visit again .....

i always order banana rama pancake here. thechocolatepancakes are awesome too. i am not a big fan of waffles though...the lindtchocolateshake is pretty nice as well.chocolateroom is value for money.....
