walking into the over-sized doors you are greeted by extravagance at it's best! then we are walked to the table and seated in the corner booth, surrounded by breathtaking display architecture.

no one can love it until they try the chicken potstickers.... this might be a long review, though my love is inexplicable. i eat here almost everytime i hang out with my best friend from high school. we have a very strict tradition of ordering and sharing the chicken potstickers and small caesar salad as an appetizer. for those who have never had potstickers, they are an asian dumpling that is pan seared on the bottom rather than steamed or fried. inside is a mix of vegetables and meat, much like an egg or spring roll. the soy-based sauce cheesecake factory serves them in is the best part. we recommend dipping the complimentary french bread in this sauce. as for the entree's... i honestly have never enjoyed any of them like i do the chicken potstickers and caesar salad. i do not recommend the orange chicken. panda express' is way better. all of the burgers and sandwiches are pretty good though... and i know people that are faithful to the louisiana chicken pasta. everyone knows this chain, but no one can love it until they try the chicken potstickers.

horrible service. the management is not at all accommodating service is poor and food was sitting for a while in kitchen

first timer!. this was my 1st time visiting the cheesecake factory. i think i may have visited one years ago in calgary. i am pretty amazed at all the selections. i had the navajo sandwich. my friends order the salmon lunch special. my sandwich was amazing, i had to take half of it home. it was a huge portion. my partner's miso salmon was ok. i found the spices overpowered the salmon. i am not sure, but i think it is atlantic farmed salmon. i found the taste off. overall the food is good, i would not use the term excellent, just average. we happened to be there on a friday afternoon, the place was pretty empty. none of us had room to sample any of the cheesecake, maybe next time.

knock-off menu, better elsewhere. i can never find anything on the menu that sounds appetizing --- the whole menu is a knock-off of better restaurants. i've tried different things, especially since so many people like going there, but never leave happy. their service and atmosphere are nice ... their menu items just are lacking. they are expensive for what they serve -- since i can get a better tasting sandwich at the nearest panera. i use to like their cheesecake, but now it tastes like a big scoop of lard compared to del frisco's cheesecake.

mediocre dishes. we had a good experience here last night. our waiter was fantastic - personable, attentive, and welcoming. the bread was yummy and fresh.

we got the avocado eggrolls. they were alright, but i wouldn't order them again. didn't leave me with a good enough impression to want them again. i had the same experience with my entree (spicy chipotle chicken pasta) - it was pretty good, but i would try other things if i came back. neither dish wowed me; they were just mediocre.

please shorten the menu!. after a few visits to the southlake location, i'm still left asking, "what style of food do they specialize in?" i know that the cheesecake is the centerpiece, but the menu is longer than some short stories i've read and the genre is all over the place! the food is good, so if they ever decide on a direction, they could really do it great! our last visit was disappointing because of the slow service. we arrived before the lunch rush, to avoid the delays but still waited...and waited...for our food, which then came out 1 plate at a time over the span of about 15 minutes. after lunch, we waited for our checks...and waited...until our lunch turned into a two hour visit. the flavors are usually good, so i'm left to think that a shorter menu would equal faster preparation and service for all.

so many choices. and they are all good! i crave cheesecake factory day in and day out!

the new skinny menu was surprisingly very good. no longer do you have to save all your daily calories to eat at the cheesecake factory!

a reliable favorite. we have enjoyed dinner several times at cheesecake factory. the menu alone....18 pages long...is sure to satisfy everyone. i had the chicken marsala. the food was delicious and the service was quick and helpful when asking for a recommendation. the portions are large, plenty for a left-over dinner and definitely a good value for the money. cheesecake as always....fantastic.

good service. average food. menu is too large..how can you make everything on that huge menu well? you can't. therefore average food. and pretty pricey for the kind of food they serve.

i can't lie, the food and cheesecake is good, but at what cost? one entree provides more calories than most people sgould consume in a day and enough fat for an entire week's diet. we know it's not healthy, but people should be able to find dietary information regarding the food they serve at the restaurant. every time i ask they refuse.

good food, good service. it's always crowded, but the one time we got bad service (more like ignored), we mentioned to the hostess and the manager took care of our party himself. they never want their customers walking away unhappy. we even got dessert comp'ed! the food has never been a disappointment. once a waitress even brought me a teapot to try a tea flower.

the crabcake sandwich is the best one around town. the fries are awesome and one can always count on solid and fast service.

this is always a great place to eat with a variety of dishes to choose from.
