the soup was the highlight of my day. i work within walking distance of the café. i had the queen anne sandwich (benedictine+) and it was very nice. personally i thought it had maybe a little too much bacon on it for me, buy i also really love benedictine. with it i had the pasta salad and considering it was to go, it was a very full cup, considering its size about standard fare for pasta salad.
the highlight though was the tomato dill soup. it had just a little texture and the flavor was excellent. it was nice and savory and just a little creamy. they sell soup by the quart for takeout and i'm pondering getting some to take home the next time i get something.
their order prep time was very quick. i placed my order once i got there during a packed lunch hour and it was perhaps 5 minutes from the time i placed my order to when they had it ready.
i found the pricing to be comparable to restaurants like mccallister's or jason's deli.
very pleasant experience, i look forward to returning and trying the hot brown or the french provencial.
