we were a large group and had a large table to share. we ordered the following-

~ jurassic and juicy lucy burger- both a definite must try on the list.
~the chicken steak was delicious
~prime cut steak- loved the sauce and mashed potatoes. unfortunately the meat wasnt uniformly cooked. the center was under cooked, difficult to cut through and very chewy ( ofcourse it's a personal preference so if you like your meat properly cooked tell them so prio)

in drinks we had the berry drink, green apple and guava chili. they were absolutely refreshing

easily the best burgers in the vincity...the staff is very well briefed about the menu...great place for meat lovers...and they have vegetarian options too...the ambience has a 90’s american diners charm...only if they can improve the quality of the buns and keep options for different kind of buns example wheat,multigrain buns etc it will be a cherry on top for them!

for those who are riverdale fans and wish that they had something lile pop's in india would love burger pit. we ordered manhattan steak , spicy and crispy chicken caesar club burger. the steak was made out of veggies and was topped with exotic vegetables and a creamy spicy gravy. for a vegetarian steak it was very delicious. chicken burger was so juicy and crisy with coleslaw and fries as sides. the ambience of the cafe was very beautiful and cozy. the place was expensive but the food, service and ambience justified the price paid.

“keep calm & eat burgers” – jughead 👑

opened in mid-2018, the burger pit is the brain-child of the former manager of the sassy spoon, clement fernandes. the outlet, located in ic colony, gives a good homage to the traditional american café especially if you are familiar with the one from pop tate’s in the archie’s comics.

with the 60’s chevy car seats in each table and american memorabilia spread all over the place, the burger pit takes to back to any age-old familiar american café from the last generation. the restaurant is known for its burgers, steaks and poutines. so here is my take on the food :

🍟poutines:

based on the canadian delicacy, the poutines served here are very good. perfectly cooked fries mixed with the right amount of pork with gravy at the bottom and topped with lots of cheese.

🍔burgers:

✳️tavern loose meat burger @ rs 349 – really good stuff with everything all minced meat. minced beef tenderloin patty topped with minced beef, bacon and cheese. (4/5)😝

✳️jurassic burger @ rs399 - talk about a jaw-breaker with everything double. 2 tenderloin patties, 2 bacon slices, 2 smoked ham, 2 chicken salamis, topped with a fried egg and cheese. awesome. (4/5)😙

✳️messy burger @ rs 369 - a double cooked beef tenderloin patty that is grilled first and then fried. got to give them credit to try this, as the patty can go horribly wrong if overdone be it during grilling or frying if not both. good but not as good as the others though. (3.5/5)😊

👉a special mention on the quality of meat and the way the restaurant has grilled the beef patties. for them not to be chewy and still holds the juice, kudos to the chef in charge.👍

🍛mains :

🐖chicago clubhouse pork chops @ rs 499 – near perfectly cooked. soft and succulent in taste, the dish serves 2 chop slices marinated in pepper sauce, with a side of mashed potatoes and veggies. highly recommended!!! (4.5/5)😘

🐖texan bbq pork spare ribs @ rs499 – well prepared but not as good as the former. serving 2 ribs with a and marinated in texan spicy sauce, with a side of mashed potatoes and veggies; the dish didn’t hold as much value in taste as the pork chops did. the ribs were not as soft as the chops. (3.25/5)🙂🤔

food only looks good . quantity is a joke here. taste is just average. it's over hyped , believe me .

i paid 1400 for 3 dishes for 3 people and no ones appetite was satiated ( 2 were thin girls with small appetites) so you can imagine how less it was.

the chicken steaks are also a joke , paid 500 for 100g of chicken breast !!!!!!.

at this price point you can easily get tastier and bigger proportion at other places around borivali
(*cough* mad about burgers )

ordered the new york corporate burger and onion rings. the burger patty was rotten and smelled so bad that i couldn’t even finish the one bite i took.
the onion rings was nice and crisp.
serving rotten food to customer that was literally smelling is not acceptable at all. even eating her again as i can’t risk my health.

i was a regular at this place, but my recent visits have been quite a downgrade to what it was.
i ordered the pulled pork bbq poutine and wild gypsy grilled chicken steak, and the quality of food was just bad.
the pork was stale and tasted weird. more over, the meat was served just at the top, leaving us with just fries at the bottom. the mash potato in the steak tasted like flour, but the rest of the portion was fine.
i have also previously tried their wings but that was when the place was good.
the ambience is quite that of an american diner and they play good music.
the service was quick and polite.

was meeting an old friend after a very long time, we both decided to have burgers and i had already heard about the burger pit from my friends so decided to give it a try. the ambience of the place is just awesome taking you to an american diner. the 90's songs playing in the background and good food was the perfect combo.

we ordered jamaican farewell jerked spiced burgers and
the curried chicken burger.
it did get messy but oh it tasted really good.
would definitely visit this place again.

burgers here are averagely tasting including both veg and non veg. mocktails have less options but all were good especially "berry blast"
ambience is very catchy and friendly staff.
service is very slow. we were served our food 45minutes after placing the order.
