the buffet snack shop

a small snack shop on the rajpur road, this place offered incredible fried burger (yep, they fry the buns), pakodas and sandwiches. even the beverages like cold coffee, hot coffee, tea are amazing. the staff is poite and quick considering the rush at this place. tables are places outside the shop and you can either eating standing or pack and carry.

i have grown old munching his rolls and burgers. been around the world but this is the only place where i got burgers with fried buns. his preparation is fast and clean. great spot for a light snack with tea coffee etc. location is central and parking an issue. he had maintained the same taste of his products for decades and m sure will continue to do so.

just opposite to the gandhi park is the ultimate spot for students. the pocket friendly menu is very shot and perfect for the price. the burger is so good for just below 30 bucks, anyone would choose it over mc donalds. the bread roll is also good. the cold coffee is amazing for the price. a burger and a cold coffee for two merely costs a 100 rupee bill. the only problem is the ambience so far. some people like it as well.
overall its a perfect place if you are hungry and want to grab a quick burger. but you need to wait for service on weekends.

i love burger and this shop fulfill the taste of burger,,,bilkul maa ki tarah taste tha yaar burger ka. ,, coldcoffe is also good i usually go there severl times and specially on wednesday outing...so this snack shop make me smile and fresh becz of there burger and cutlate..

hungry kya??!! just tuck in a burger and a cold coffee from this shop and it will calm your hunger panks without giving any pains to your pocket...!!! loocated centrally in the city.. this is a place u must try!!

buffet is a small food joint located bang opposite gandhi park. the place is forever thronged by office goers, students and shoppers who wish to have fill up their stomachs without burning a hole in their pockets.it was one of our favourite stops after a great shopping spree.
the place is a complete no frills place, they do not have a seating ( standing true to the name ) and is always crowded. service is quite fast though you may have to wait for your turn to place your order.
they have a very simple no fuss menu. milkshakes, vegetable patties, veg burger, veg sandwich, coffee and the dehra dun ka world famous buffet ka bread roll.
the veg burger is a simple aloo tikki with tomato and cuvumber with a cheese option. the sandwich is a tomato and cucumber sandwich,with or without cheese option. they have a plain cheese sandwich too. the beverages are great. the bread roll is delicious with a masala that gives a different taste to it. it is oily but i care a damn for this one.each snack is simple, just like any other homemade snack, yet out of this world.
do try and take a look at how theae snacks are prepared. the speed and effeciency is mind blowing. a must try for all foodies. complete paisa vasool.

best street burger i have ever tasted..!! in our 3 days trip, we went twice to this place.. even after having a full meal elsewhere, we came here to eat the amazing burgers and yummiest cold coffee.. we even packed some on our return to delhi..

this place was amazing and was much more than what we expected.. this is a must must must visit place when in dehradun.. so guys.. just don't miss out.. 😋

a pocket friendly place located at our very own fav. rajpur road. the place remains close on sunday and therefore we had to ask for special permission to visit the place (hostellers thing)😂
the only thing that makes the place popular is the snacks at this price. (extremely low) i bet you can't find anything so tasty in such a cheap price in whole of dehradoon.

i have been for a number of times. but, every time i start liking it more than the previous time. two reasons why it is so famous i.e. great taste & pocket friendly. at any point of time when you visit this place you can find it crowdy. the buffet snack shop offers a variety of snacks, but the most famous are burgers, rolls & cold coffee.. though few complain about the oil in the food as they fry their buns too but, for me there is no better burger than theirs.
so, i will keep visiting this place often & recommend it too..

located at the rajpur road this place is quite old and it reflects in the patrons present there. what caught my attention was the crowd and then i found this gem. the menu covers everything that comes under the “snack” tag and the prices are pocket friendly. i had burger, sandwich and cold coffee. food is good and service is okayish. but given the prices and the location this is definitely one of “low expense, good food, take away” place in doon.

each and every snack on their list is amazing. it starts operating in the evening and is always full of people, if you are just lucky you might find the little number of seats empty inside the shop. but with that price and taste, anybody can compromise upon that little inconvenience. i miss the burger and cold coffee the most. highly recommend this place! serves as an amazing hangout after shopping at rajpur road!

people in dehradun and their love for bun tikki has been ever growing, alike the traffic in the city.
just one bun tikki is enough to take command over your taste buds .... but surely won't capture your hunger pranks, you'll just feel like eating another one. a cold coffee with that will easily find way to your tummy. a contended meal with no harm on the pocket.

good>better>best .....best will be right word to describe this place ...... too much pocket friendly ...!!!!! though sitting is quite limited but when it comes to taste and quality ... its the best ...

oh i miss this place so much. the cold coffee, the shakes and especially the burgers here are just wow. if i wanna eat burger and im at rajpur road, i will prefer this place over mac'd and same goes for cold cofffee also.

have been visiting this place since the past 15 years now. the ever famous joshi's burger and cold coffee is somethings that everyone in dehradun is aware of. this place is crowded all day but the wait is worth it.
