wow. haven’t been back to this old standard for years, and we chose to come here to celebrate a birthday and were thrilled to find they haven’t lost anything. absolutely 1st-rate food, drinks, and service - and of course a beautiful space to enjoy it in. the seafood entrees were all truly outstanding: rainbow trout, sea scallops, salmon, and mussels. we stated with the incredible seafood fondue, which our server, rob, wisely recommended. i’d get this every time. the justly famous grilled caesar was terrific, with the best dressing i’ve ever tasted. i recall the filet mignon being really wonderful, so next time i might go back to that, and i hope to save room for the pot de creme, which is widely praised, too. rob’s service was stellar all night. a perfect place for a special occasion.

was there 11/7 great atmosphere! service was excellent. the menu's somewhat limited but there's items you'll like! i thought the portions were very small!! could've eaten two dinners with no problem!! four of us with drinks $250! i thought that was a little much for what we had!! not impressive enough to go back! too many other choices in the area that are better!!!

my son lives in town and i was visiting and he suggested going here for the "meet the girlfriend" dinner. it was perfect for the special occasion. very nice intimate atmosphere and great service. there was an appetizer that sounded great that they made an entree portion for me. i would definitely return!

not sure.. beautiful building, inside and out. nice atmosphere. lots of dark wood, red velvet, mirrors, etc... fancy menu, but didn't quite deliver for me. had seared duck breast, which was rather small and smothered in a mass of messy stuff that didn't really enhance the duck or the plate in general. dining partner had the short ribs which were excellent. wine list pretty good, but not cheap. $10/glass is still just too much to pay when the bottle costs $20 retail. overall, i would return if someone wanted to go there, but wouldn't rush back on my own.

the belvedere has a sparkly, dark interior with bars and table seating on two levels, including an outdoor deck. jamie hornberger is often behind the downstairs bar on monday nights, and keeps the spot popular with quick service and generous pours.

great food and atmosphere. had the lobster bisque and sea bass with clam risotto. it was awesome!!

the belvedere inn. the menu at the belvedere inn is outstanding. as several have suggested here the grilled ceasar salad is a reason to visit by itself. the bar has a great wine and drink menu and the service was above average. the crab dip was typiical but you could tell it was made with lump crabmeat. i will definitely return to the belvedere inn.

one of my favorite dining spots in lancaster. chicken salad on croissant is excellent. the burgers are awesome. sharon the bartender (i don't know if she's still there) is the best. who can knock the grilled caesar salad with tenderloin tips? the belvedere inn has inspired me to try and replicate it at home. i do not live in the area anymore, but when i come back, i'm going right back to the belvedere!

food was ok, but there menu is moving to more of an asian fusion style. honestly, you can't beat the grilled ceasar at this place, and i think they do a great job of changingthe menu seasonally. my wife had the veal an it was boring, i had the pork tenderloin (which is one of the more asian inspired dishes) and it was good- but not what i expect of an iconic lancaster restaurant. dessert was good, but the cheesecake tasted more like key lime pie. i'm the end, i'm gonna stick with fenz for fine dining in lancaster. they have never once dissapionted me and, sadly, i can't say that about the belvedere anymore. service is still top notch!

ole reliable. this place is fantastic and a favorite of all lancaster locals. whether it's for a lovely dinner or a night out on the town, the belvedere inn is am establishment full of quality and class.

a must stop-in. we go there every time we're in lancaster. wonderful menu at a great price. i tip heavy here.
