wow. haven’t been back to this old standard for years, and we chose to come here to celebrate a birthday and were thrilled to find they haven’t lost anything. absolutely 1st-rate food, drinks, and service - and of course a beautiful space to enjoy it in. the seafood entrees were all truly outstanding: rainbow trout, sea scallops, salmon, and mussels. we stated with the incredible seafood fondue, which our server, rob, wisely recommended. i’d get this every time. the justly famous grilled caesar was terrific, with the best dressing i’ve ever tasted. i recall the filet mignon being really wonderful, so next time i might go back to that, and i hope to save room for the pot de creme, which is widely praised, too. rob’s service was stellar all night. a perfect place for a special occasion.
