good fish and chips. a short walk from faneuil hall and quincy market, the bell in hand tavern is close enough for tired travellers to lurch over for a refreshing pint (or two) yet far enough away from the cacaphony of buskers. cosy, good service, and a reasonable prices. the front is especially good to watch an international parade of tourists pass by on the freedom trail.
i highly recommend the fish 'n' chips, which was lightly breaded and came with crispy fries and fresh made cole slaw. we washed it all down with a pint of their house brand, the bell in hand (an amber) and a half-pint of harpoon, a local cider. delicious!
